ok so when I turn on my computer and log into my account it takes 5 minutes for the start menu to load and for the desktop to pop up after than it takes another 4 minutes to start up all the startup programs ( 2wire, steam, dropbox, comodo) but then the the start button and menu itself will freeze randomly and if I try to open my documents, or my computer folder I it will freeze for 10-15 minutes. and I constantly drop connection
All that and windows Installer is borked it won't let me install anything.

I am fucking retarded I run on windows XP 32 bit
How long has this been going on, just lately?
If you have a ton of programs on startup you will lag.
I don't quite remember how to change programs on startup but you can try this:
Start/All Programs/Startup/ and delete anything unrelated to Comodo, and Steam.
If there's nothing in the Startup folder then try opening the individual programs and seek an options/settings menu
and try looking for something like "Start on startup" and turn it off.
I forget how to find the "Change programs on startup" menu, but it's somewhere.
1 week.

As far as I know the start up programs have nothing to do with the lag, as I only have 4 of them on startup. However even after startup no matter what I do, whenever it is on it lags. I need to access my files and I can't.
good night
... so any help?
no one has experienced this?

Yes you are, run some virus scans then check back.
comodo will it do good enough?
scanned with commodo all is fine...
commodo is bad
Download Microsoft Security Essentials and Malwarebytes onto a USB stick from another computer, and try those.
