I just converted a movie into mpeg. I tested it before syncing. The video was fine. However, when I tried playing it on my iTouch, I get screeching/skipping noises.
Has this got to do with the sound frequency?
Use a proper ipod mp4 converter.
Protip: People get butthurt when you call an iPod Touch an iTouch don't ask why I have no idea myself

Converter Is fine.
iTunes converts videos to iPod format (MP4) just fine, use that.
Ipod touch always seems to have problems with video.

No it doesn't.
Please don't call it an iTouch.
PLEASE.
Use a good mp4 converter. FormatFactory is a great one.

Not once have I had a problem with playback.
Youtube isn't completely smooth, but still brilliant.

Obviously not. Test with headphones.
