so recently my laptop screen has begun to shake (the image, not the screen itself) rather violently. it comes and goes, and when i hit the space next to my little mouse pad thingy it stops for a short period of time. can anyone me what the hell is going on before i send it into a shop? there is an occasional clicking coming from the area i have been hitting, i think this is the video card... i don't know... i can't get it open without a screw driver and i don't have a screw driver (it was clicking before i started hitting it to make the screen stop shaking).

Uh, it's a hardware fault.
And don't dick around with your laptop's hardware if you have warranty. If your warranty is still valid, I say now's a good time to use it.
okay thanks
return it under warranty.
probably a loose screen cable or a busted CCFL inverter
