Just curious to hear your opinions about how good / bad life is where you live
Hell no. If I had the chance I'd move from this city/state in a heartbeat. Rather live in NYC or Atlanta then in NOLA. Too much crime in New Orleans, too many drunks and crazies, too much traffic, and the threat of hurricanes is always prevalent. Seriously, our city has a murder tracker on the news sites, we're over 100, it's that fucked up.
No. Baltimore (and Maryland in general) is a crime-ridden shit hole run by idiots. I'd move to south Florida in a heartbeat, but...the wife won't allow that.

Hah, wouldn't suggest South Florida if you wanna get away from crime-ridden shitholes. It's paradise to visit, but horrible to live in.
I love being in Cali even though it's kinda crowded.
No. Boulder, Colorado is full of pretentious, over-important spunk bubbles. This town is liberal as hell, which isn't a bad thing but it's also rich as fuck and so it inflates people sense of self-worth. The fact that it's also a college town makes certain points of the year absolutely hellish to go anywhere and do anything. Everything is expensive, there are no 24 hour restaurants or delivery, there are bums fucking everywhere (in a rich liberal town lol), good job's are a pain in the ass to find because they're all high paying, "experience needed" positions for tons of startups, and the weather is schizophrenic as fuck.

Depends on where. Decent areas of Miami, Miramar and Ft Lauderdale are fine. Plus the state is run by sane people who aren't Constitutional rights-infringeres like the lovely "leadership" of Maryland.
The crime-rate in my village seems pretty low, there are a nice bunch of parks with only a short walk to the high street, and my workplace is practically up the road. So concerning the neighbourhood I'd say Carshalton's pretty great.
But in terms of housing I could definitely do with better. It's a rather small terraced house, three stories high with a garage taking up most of the ground floor. I'm fine with walking up and down two flights of stairs every day, since it helps me get a little bit of exercise even when I'm not trying, but what I'm not ok with is the relative smallness of the rooms. Even the living room feels a little cramped and that's technically the largest room in the entire house.
Small town, flat with shitty road conditions during winter but I don't otherwise mind.
LA for life yo. West coast best coast, etc. you know how it is.
Nah. There's a couple nice people here in Springburg, but you can't overlook the amount of methheads, crack-addicts, and redneck bible-thumpers tearing each others throats out constantly. I'd much rather be back up North in good ole' Chi-town.
Sort of, quality of life is good, but the authoritarian government is a constant thorn in my side. Monopolies, prohibitions, failed policies that nobody wants to revise. It just feels that me and everyone else here could enjoy so many more liberties than we currently do, and that's what constantly puts me off from enjoying living in Sweden.
Odense best city in Denmark. I'm gonna be hellasad if I have to move some day. Love my apartment too, it's nice and roomy.
I love this small town, it's between 2 small cities just off a highway so everything I could ever need is no more then a 20 min drive. In town there is a general store with a beer and liquor stores in it as well as the post office and it's only a 5 min walk down the street. My backyard isn't massive but 1/2 an acre it's pretty roomie for any needs we have. The community it great and most people know each other pretty well and there is lots of events on holidays and such. I'm living with my parents so that's an upside and with my full time job I've been able to save up money. Unfortunately I'm at that point in life where I have to move out soon, so that's gonna suck. It's not going to be easy to feel quite as at home as I do right now
Quaint sleepy town in the south of England dated back to about 907AD, yeah it's pretty nice really
Kinda. I live in Seattle and although it's very pretty here, it's very expensive and (to me) there isn't much to do.
I live in a suburban area in Berkshire, which seems nice, but a 5 minute walk will take you to a tacky area, where the chavs live. There is a neighbourhood around that area, with a small outdoor play area, but the people who live there just dump their rubbish there. Doll, small bicycles and empty fish tanks are just amount a few of the things that those people leave out. It's ridiculous.

Happens here in the USA, all over, too.
No. Finland is a freezing shithole with taxes out of the ass and 1930-like alcohol laws. I'm going to move to a more pleasant and free European country in the future. Had enough of this nanny-state.

Switzerland is nice. I'd move there if I moved to Europe.
No.

Feel your pain bro, it's exactly like that here in Sweden as well. Frankly sick and tired of this horse shit. Especially considering how I am a radical libertarian i almost cry blood whenever i think of systembolaget and our drug laws that could very well trump america in being retarded and backwards and serving nobody else but the criminal gangs, really sick of it.
in the spring and fall, yes
in the summer and winter, no

Let's rent an apartment in Fuengirola :toot:
Apart from the relatively unimportant gripes I have I can't really deny I have it good here.
Hey, I live in Longview, WA. Unbelievably huge meth problem in this area, if I didn't have ties to family/friends/job I wouldn't have bought a house here and I'd have moved away, probably.
alabama is a shithole
florida is a shithole
NYC is pretty awesome.
Expensive as fuck though, and absolutely filled with shitty tourists 8 months out of the year.
