It's about time I upgraded my 19" monitor. I'm looking for the best I can get for under £150. I would like a minimum of Full HD and a good refresh rate. I've seen a few within my budget, just wanted some opinions/recommendations. I don't mind what brand. Preferably larger than 22".
I've had my 24" ASUS LED monitor for over a year now and it's been great for gaming.
Almost all of them have great refresh rates.
This monitor would be great if you want speakers/webcam built in http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824236261
Or if not you can also go for this monitor without the fancy speakers/webcam

Both are about the same quality and size, and anything under 5ms should theoretically be fine for gaming. I never noticed any input lag on my other monitor which is a 1440p IPS with 6MS but it all depends on your eyes.
Thanks for the feedback. I have got myself one now, was in town and saw a sale on at Argos with 15% off screens. Picked up the following for £100, really happy with it!

Ah my friend has that exact same one actually haha
Also a good monitor :P
This should be the only monitor you ever need. http://www.ebay.com/ctg/Dell-E773C-17-CRT-Monitor-/52120465
But if you absolutely NEED hd... go with that LG.

He has already bought it.
Also, no one really uses CRT anymore, and 17" is lackluster at best for a lot of people.

CRT is cool and all, but that's really small and the screen bubbles out. I'd get one of those Sony CRT's if I had to.

That monitor is shit, poor blacks despite being a CRT.
At least recommend a high end Sony Trinitron if you're heading in that direction.
CRT are old times no need them anymore not to mention depending on the usage it starts expanding and shit resulting in a random popping sounds when its off.
LED monitors are the way to go get an LG one and you're set.
