Everything there sounds awesome, except for social networking integration, but that's just me.
Why? You are on Steam, and Youtube, and Facepunch, aren't you? These are all social networks, and if this means easier integration for uploading videos on Youtube, for example, then I welcome it.
It's nice not being pressured or even forced to join social communities. I ended up finally making a Facebook account when Steam offered an achievement for it, and I haven't really used it much.

This is a valid point, but when people hear 'social network', they'll immediately think about Facebook, and Twitter, etc.
I mean it's a nice option to have, but when I play a game, I want to play a game - not go on a social networking site.

If it's for easier integration with YouTube, then go ahead. But don't play dumb with me and say YouTube is the first thing that pops into your head when you hear "social networking integration."
Hell, the first thing they mention is Facebook.

fucking finally
no more make 1 change ,compile code test it doesnt work and repeat
and no more fuck ass long lighting building times
am I the only one who is kind of sad that not as many people will strive to be programmers now? i don't know, i'm learning right now and it kind of makes me sad that i would be semi-useless to devs using unreal 4

Doesn't mean you'd be semi-useless, it just means that you'd be doing other, more important things. The whole reason that programmers exist is to streamline and optimize any kind of task that can be streamlined and optimized. That's exactly what's being done here.
I expect to see a lot of pc games using this soon. Even if they are all indie I still can't wait to try out my hardware. This might be the first graphical push we have seen since 07.

I'm going into programming too, and what makes you think they're useless? If anything, I think they're in heavy demand right now. If you want your game to stand out, you can't just use vanilla Unreal Engine. Also, I've noticed almost more than anything on companies looking to hire, they seem to want programmers.

From my point of view, programming was the most interesting at its beginning, when there was no OS at all and you were the one controlling every aspect of your computer. Nowadays it is so complex you can't have a global understanding of what you program as long as it is a somewhat ambitious project. But I'm kind of glad the UI is more user-friendly now. Designers' field is not programming, and it would be a shame if their talent was hindered by something they struggle to understand.
Don't forget that programmers are the ones making this engine. This evolution doesn't make the programmer's work useless, it gives more value to the designer's and it is only because of programmers that it is the case.
programmers ARE on heavy demand, as example if your just an 3d modeller you can just model but not prottype your game
as a programmer you CAN prototype your game ,create the gameplay etc,as well modify the whole engine etc
my god guys it's optional you don't need to connect facebook with your unreal games.
fun fact steam has the same functionality.
I'll start liking unreal when people who aren't Epic games learn how to use it properly.
Like by replacing the HDR and geometry shaders so everything isn't glowing molten plastic.
In other news CE3 continues to be much better.

Why would you get rid of essential things like these that boost the graphical realism significantly?
HDR =/= overk!ll br0wn bl00m, though most developers choose to include unecessary effects to hide the low details rendered by consoles.
