• Which GPU?

I need to upgrade my 260 GTX, and I have a budget of more or less £80, and hope to be able to run borderlands 2 smoothly. I'm thinking that a XFX HD 6850 will do the job nicely, but has anyone got any better suggestions?
I replied in the borderlands thread too, but just so the topic won't come up again in this thread, you will NOT find a decent GPU for less than $100 USD. The cheapest one I've seen for less than $200 is the Nvidia GTX 480, but I'm sure there are others, if anyone knows of a couple more. Your best bet is to find one that's in a price range you can potentially afford (since you're budget's 80 euros, maybe around 150), and then save up a little more money/stretch your budget a bit. It'll be worth it, trust me. No point in cheaping out, because you'll just have to upgrade again in a year when it won't run jack shit, which will just cost more money than dishing out an extra hundred bucks now.
Having had the 460 GTX for over a year now it plays everything i throw at it. The benchmarks show its slightly quicker with most games than the 6850 and you can pick one up on ebay pretty cheap if you can afford the 480 then even better. Personally i prefer Nvidias drivers over ATI. What are the rest of your specs and PSU wattage+brand.
Where are you finding a Radeon HD6850 for less than 80 quid? I'm not seeing one below 90.

Most of the ones on ebay have crazy high delivery prices too. I did find a Gtx 470 for just under £100 though, and a GTX 560 for just over £100. 560 SE isn't great, the 470 is decent enough but it's also 2 generations old and refurbished
I personally really like the Radeon Hd 6850. It's about £100 from what I know, and it runs pretty much everything.
