Skyrim with fatalities.
The music might be unfitting, but we've yet to see true gameplay. Speaking of which it'll probably have the X-Ray moves from the last Mortal Kombat, judging by the trailer.
Also, here's hoping the composers actually remember to do a rendition of the classic theme this time, as opposed to some sort of "R&D" (rhythm and dubstep) soundtrack.
Were those ninjas or ganstas?
Don't have sound so can't comment on the music, but sweet.
That cgi did look a bit sloppy to be fair, looked like they were made from jelly.
Judging from that trailer, I wonder if we will have more of the environment to play with like sub zero swinging from the branch :o

It was some generic new-age rap song.
Graphics are stunning, but way too desaturated. And the music? What the fuck?
Pretty sure Subs stole Scorpion's flip towards the end there.... wonder if that's a unique or a global to prevent spamming?

Wiz Khalifa, of all terrible musicians.

To be fair, it could have been this.

The beat is good at introducing scorpion/subzero and building suspense. Just because it's not Disturbed doesn't mean you need to shit on it.

Shit on what? The trailer or the song? Because I like the trailer but I don't like the song. And what are you on about disturbed? Just because people like the original music style for mortal kombat that means they are disturbed fans?
The music. Heavy metal isn't Mortal Kombat's 'original' music style. It verges on Electronic and maybe Tribal-esque sometimes, even Mortal Kombat 3's street music is pretty much the beat for some 90's sounding rap song
In fact the only metal Mortal Kombat songs I can think from the top of my head is the slaughterhouse music from deception and the remixed armory music in 9.
Maybe that nu-metal song Adema did for Deadly Alliance too.
Also because they used Disturbed in the Mortal Kombat 9 teaser.
The rap sounds totally unfitting and unrelated to the content.
Its being released on PC as well as the consoles, too, on launch.
No waiting like last time.

Really? If they were going to use him they could've at least used Black and Yellow during the fatality.

Maybe we're shitting on it because we think it was a horrible choice for an arcade fighting game that originated from electronic? At least rock/metal is something intense, like a Mortal Kombat game should be.
What a horrible choice of music for such a game.
It looked really nice though, although I fear that the new Mortal Kombat will end up being to similiar to the last one and only having graphical improvements. The last Mortal Kombat was a blast and surprise hit, furthermore it offered a lot of content and was generally very enjoyable to play.
Gosh how dare they put hip hop in this game's trailer. Pre-order cancelled!
The music is not great but it could've been worse. It could've been Skrillex or Disturbed again.
