• Took cover off of graphics card, put back on and I get one short beep, one long

Tool the cover off of my ATI Radeon HD 5770 because my idling temperatures were high. When I looked inside of the card; there was no dust to be found. So I put all the screws back in and put the card back into my machine. Plugged in the Ethernet-looking cable back into the front of the card, screwed it back into the PCI-Express slot, plugged in my monitor. And my motherboard gives one short beep, one long beep. I took the card out again an put t back in, same thing. Any help?
You probably forgot to plug in the graphic card's fan connector, it's the really small 3-4pin connector. That's what I got when I disconnected my old 5770's fan.
It was plugged in. [editline]2nd April 2013[/editline] Freaky, turned the surge protector off and turned it back on and it made a zap noise and turned back off. Kinda scared me, I switched it out with a different one and wallah, it's working. Thanks anyway!
