How many years would you like to remain in cryostasis? What do you think that future will hold?
Id like to stay in stasis for 750 years. Thanks to the sudden rapid development of cloning technology, Donald Trump has been elected as the eternal ruler of the world. By himself. Planet Earth is encased in a giant wall, and despite many brave attempts by the Clintonians(cloning has been attempted on Hillary Clinton too but her DNA was too rotten so they turned into reptiles and then the Trumples sent them to Mars where they built a colony and manufactured a war machine out of all the broken rovers and equipment left behind from failed attempts at terraforming) to break it, it still remains as another great example of human engineering. However we cant see the sun anymore because the wall blocks out all the sunlight so its night 24/7.
There are no nations anymore. Everyone resembles Trump. Earth has been renamed to Trump. The Solar System has also been renamed to That One Galactical System That Contains Our Glorious Leader All Hail. A massive statue of Trump replaces the White House. It is where MechaTrump has established his iron rule. Through manipulation of the noosphere, everyone is happy because there is no more Mexico. Only Donald Trump.
50 minutes so when I wake up my pizza will arrive.
1000 years
i expect to wake up in futurama
plus due to interest i'll become fucking rich
Between one hundred or two hundred years so I can wake up in a very different time, but still have some links to the current world.
wake me up when the skeleton army wins the war.
Wake me up in approximately 4B years. We will have no more uranium, and a bigger sun for better solar energy
Wow the half life joke hasn't been taken yet, I'm dissapointed. [sp]Long enough until Half Life 3 is released.[/sp]
200 years so that F-Zero can actually be a thing :v:
1 or 2 months so i can get a laptop
265 years so i can go fight romans in the mojave desert
Wake my ass when interstellar FTL travel becomes an thing.
Gotta get my hands on tem blue alien titties.
long enough that we've colonized another planet, always wanted to live on another planet.
Until someone wakes me up inside
Once humans start colonizing other planets so I can get the fuck out of Earth.

wake me up when September ends
Maybe something like 25000-100000 years. I'd like to see how humanity has progressed evolutionary and technologically. Humans 100K years from now will probably look distinctively different from us, just as we look different from humans 100K years ago.
It'd definitely be pretty neat to observe.
In all seriousness, once biological aging has been made a thing of a past and people no longer die from "natural causes". I would love to live for as long as possible, life is wonderful.

Biological aging and natural causes of death will never disappear. People have wished for an eternal life since the dawn of man, it's nothing but a pipe dream.

I feel like we could probably extend the rate at which they occur a lot though. Of course they cant be stopped entirely, but I hold out hope for the future that life expectancies rise significantly at some point.

Agreed, I'd sleep for anywhere between 4000 to 40,000 years, hard to say though because miracles can happen in the next 100 years too. Impossible to predict.

People have also wished for the ability to fly and to easily communicate with the rest of the world. Don't be a buzzkiller

Not actually so..
The problem with living longer is our synapse connections in the brain start running out, so even if we managed to prolong our lifetime to some crazy number like 200-500 years or even relative immortality, we would still have to solve bunch of problems with the brain like memory problems, alzheimer's etc.
I'd like to wait until the end of humanity. I'd like to live at a point where Humanity has done everything it will ever do. I'd spend the rest of my life just studying the history of the human species from beginning to end. I could listen to all the music ever created, watch every film ever made, see every work of art, see the apotheosis of human technology, science, culture, medicine etc... I would know about the futures and endings of every single human civilization in existence. I would know everything there is to know about anything we have ever done.
You people are forgetting that if you wake up in like 1000 years you gotta learn their dumb new language and shit.
0 seconds because being put into cryo will kill you because ice crystals and shit build up in your bloodstream and heart, painfully putting an end to your life

not if your blood is replaced with a synthetic variant that does not expand when frozen
Lets go with 100 years.
