Zomba sounds like that Zumba, cept alot less healthy.

The voice and writing were a bit awkward, but I actually like the idea of a gameplay video that actually explains how the game is played, rather than a CGI animation or snippets of gameplay that don't really show what's going on.
When I first played the alpha, it looked like it was going to be DEAD ON ARRIVAL! But now that I look at it further along in development, it could be interesting. I'm very cautious around the Dead Island devs because of the abomination of the first one. I played a little of it at my fathers house, and it just sucked so much that it turned me away from the series as a whole.
I'll give this another chance though, I like to think of myself as a moba connoisseur. I love trying "new" ideas for mobas.
If you take away the whole lanes/QWER spells thing, is it really (spin-off of) a moba?
Gameplay looks a lot more akin to something like Alien Swarm.
After playing it again, it's actually a whole lot smoother then the alpha was. And I agree with you Zesty, it doesn't really have too much to do with mobas other then the fact that you have to level up by killing stuff to unlock/upgrade skills. And that the skills have a similar effect to skills in mobas IE stuns, slows, snares etc. but that can be put into pretty much any genre.
I'm going to keep an eye on this over the next few days to see if I like it, since all of the founder packs are 33% off on steam until june 30th.
