I feel like this is obvious but I want to make sure there's no chance the cause is something else.
I'm using Windows 10. For the past three days my Wi-Fi connection keeps dropping every minute or so, and I have to reset it because if I try to reconnect manually it says no wi-fi networks are found, even tough there's like 50 of them in my immediate area. I actually had to reset it in the middle of writing this post.
Things I've tried:
-Reinstalling drivers
-Disabling my firewall/anti-virus software
Could be interference from other or new wifi sources.
Having 50 others around you sounds like a pain.
You should get an app on your phone that can show you how many others are on the same channel.
WiFi Manager on Android does that for example.
Then you probably want to try and change the WiFi channel to a different one that isn't used as much.
Alternative would be to buy a new adapter (preferably amazon or where you can easily return it) and test it out with a new one.
Might want to look into 5Ghz if your source WiFi supports it, smaller range but faster and less interference due to way more channels it offers.
