Just curious if someone can give me the gist of what Anti-aliasing is and does and if it's a good idea to have it on.
See the jaggedness on the edges of models in your video games? Anti-aliasing smooths out the jaggedness.
Depends on your hardware. Anti-aliasing or AA is the ability for a computer or application to get rid of jaggid lines that develop on any non 90 degree line. These are not really liked and AA helps the quality of the graphics. Not all hardware can support it, but on most cards, AA is a standard.

So it's a good idea to turn it on then for quality picture.
