I need a g-mail account without phone verification

I really want a g-mail account, but there's this bullshit "sms account verification horseshit when you make it. Is there any ways to get a g-mail account without the SMS verifcation bullcrap? I googled for tricks and none of them seem to help - google still asks for a phone number.
I don't have a cell phone. Do any of you happen to know any other ways around this?
I thought if you enter a secondary email you can bypass this?
I've got like 4 and never had to do this

Nope, it still asks me for a mobile phone number
I just created a Gmail account without any phone number needed, not even my address. I don't where you're getting the phone thing.
Perhaps you're in a different country?

I'm in the USA. Well basically, everytime I hit submit after entering my info. This fucking cuntpage comes up in all its glory and mocks me.

I'm pretty sure it's only like that for Americans, as you guys are bat shit fucking insane and like to make lots of accounts for spam bots.
It probably somehow associated your IP address with a known spammer, do you know if your address is dynamic? (or have you been sending spam?:ssh:) Why not just ask a friend to use their cell phone, you must know somebody that owns a phone.

I don't have a phone. Can I sign up?
If you're trying to sign up for a Google Account, you may be asked to provide a phone number to verify your account. You'll have the option to receive a verification code by text message (SMS) or automated voice call. If you choose the text message option, make sure the phone you use has text-messaging capabilities. If you don't have a mobile phone, try using the voice call option. If you don't have a phone, ask a friend to use his or her number to receive the code via text message or voice call. If you use the voice call option, you'll receive a call and hear an automated message with a verification code. Enter the code on the page to complete the process.
Note: Standard text messaging and calling charges apply.
Why am I being asked to provide a mobile number?
In an effort to protect our users from abuse, we sometimes ask users to verify their identity before they're able to create or sign into accounts. We take spam and abuse very seriously, so there are numerous things we do to block spammers and their messages. Sending verification codes to phones is one way to verify that real people, not robots, are creating and signing into Google Accounts.
Isnt' that hard to use google.
I PMd you, I'll let you use my cell phone

Partially.
I grew tired of all that shit so I bought my own domain instead.
I never had to do this.
Say, er, I might be making a mail server, perhaps it could be public
[sp] AND I CAN EARN MILLIONS [/sp]
Google Apps.

Yeah good luck with that.
Back when I started using Gmail (which was shortly before launch), you needed an invite AND you needed phone verification.
Last 2 times I got a new Gmail though, I didn't have to do this. I wonder if Google's practicing their random favouritism bullshit again.
Possibly just a random thing? Sometimes I've had to do it, other times I haven't.

random favoritism bullshit?
i seriously doubt Google is going to waste time and money figuring out what users they like the most

Random favoritism? Seems quite contradictory!
I was using Gmail the year it came out, invite only.. and people who had unlimited SMS were rich or had jobs at the time. So calling was still big at the time.
Can you try sending the SMS msg to an email server instead?
it does this to me also, I live in UK
i bought a phone just to fucking deal with it
Register via proxy :frogc00l:
No, Gmail is still the best one out there...
PM me your email, I'll send you an invitation.
