Hello all. (For future reference, the picture number labels correspond with (1), (2), and (3) that I will put in the post) I want partitions (1) and (3) to either join together, or make the whole drive a single partition, is this possible without re-installing Windows 7? Any help will be very appreciated.
Yes, you can expand existing partitions using Gparted - http://gparted.sourceforge.net/ Make sure you have a Windows disk kicking around though as it will need to repair the install, give this a read - http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows-vista/using-gparted-to-resize-your-windows-vista-partition/
Nice one. Thanks. Quick question, only just realized I could right-click the partition for more options, but the "Extend Partition" option is grayed out, won't the same thing just happen on GParted?

Its currently greyed out because its the system drive.
Cheers man, got it all sorted now.
You don't even have to live boot in windows 7 you just right click on the partition and choose shrink/expand/delete partitions now
