• Question about toenail dropping off.

I might come off as a 12 year old by asking this but still, I have to do it. You see I'm seventeen ( not those immatured ones I might add. ) but yet, I have never had any toe nail coming off problems. Heck, I didn't even care when someone drops a toe nail as they just brush it off. But today, luck has failed me. My second smallest toenail has dropped off. Though there's no bleeding or whatsoever. Naturally I panicked. A quick search on google and some post I found says there I should wear a band aid? Well here's the question/s I have. Thanks in advance for the help. 1.) Should I put on band aid? 2.) Do I need to change it everyday? ( I play basketball and I'm afraid that it would get infected if I don't change it.) 3.) Will there be any harm if I don't put band aid? ( See above bracketed part for info. ) 4.) Any measures I can take to prevent infection? / Any thing I can do to make it grow faster?
Ask a doctor
That can't be good..
Oh dear god, excuse me while I throw up... http://www.foot-pain-explained.com/missing-toenail.html Answer is there. Edit: For hygienic reasons, i'd change it everyday.
Had the same thing happen to me, but mine didn't tear all the way off. I needed stitches but I'm not sure about you. Just clean the area everyday with antiseptic and you should be fine.

Another case for Dr. FACEPUNCH, seriously, why ask facepunch? Also, the advertisement was pretty lol. ... or not.
Haha, I looked up an article about 'Chris Brown beating up Rihanna' and there was an IQ test above the article saying "Can you beat Rihanna?" I lol'd.
