Hello facepunch, I've not been active in this sub forum, but then again I guess that you are accustomed to see random people wandering here from time to time.
Take in mind that I live in Canada and prices are normally higher than of the U.S for whatever reason.. and U.S companies knows because they all seem to have their canadian conterparts with canadian prices. Sooo..
I wanted to know what PSU would you recommend for this build and if necessary what SSD to. Price range of the total build ~ 1100 CAD
(this is tigerdirect.ca site's)

Thanks for helping. I'm also open to any other suggestion one may have.
Don't crucify me ahah, my last build was when AMD were kings of the waffles.

Do you have a case that you can reuse, a copy of Windows and a DVD drive (if you need one). Also a lot of people forget Wireless Cards.
I forgot about the case ahah I just thrown away my old antec case. For the internet it's alright I got the router in my room so I'm wired. And a dvd drive yup I'll need one too.

For the same price it's only logical that I go with the 650w one even if it's not modular like the other.
But the rest of the build seems alright ?
CX600 has no modularity
there's absolutely no reason to choose it over the XFX seeing as the XFX has the same seasonic internals as the TX650V2, better than the CX by quite a way
http://www.tigerdirect.ca/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=353597&CatId=7212 has 8x/8x PCI-E slots, much better for upgrading with sli
http://www.tigerdirect.ca/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=7114145&CatId=4534 no stupid tall heatspreaders that can cause problems with CPU heatsinks
if you can spare the extra, get a hyper 212 plus or 212 evo and overclock the CPU
Wouldn't I be better off with 1600mhz ram than 1333 ?
there's no significant difference
I really doubt you'll miss a fraction of a frame per second
Well thank you very much, seeing as you are the only one who really helped me.
got 16 gigs of ram instead ahah. overkill me think.
1100$ final price. ordered
Have fun :)
Don't forget to ask if you have any doubts when building it.
I'll report back with pictures when they arrive !
Everthing as arrived !
