The next - and likely final - patch for World of Warcraft: Warlords of Draenor
patch 6.3????????????
patch 6.3????????????
Draenor is dead. Its the shortest expansion out there. 6.2 is the end, and then Legion is the next expansion.
Man Blizzard is never going to hear the end on WoD.

More like 6.2.2, the flying patch.
Shit got crap after WotLK

Pandaria was good at least.
I loved the design of Pandaria.
people will always shit on panderia "ugh fuckin pandabears gay ass turtle fuckin babies game" but it had some pretty fresh designs and better dungeons than draenor at the very least
You know what's funny?
It's like what people initially thought about Kung Fu Panda 1 and 2 before it was released.
"Oh a fucking movie about Jack Black panda, how stupid and childish." "Sequel is gonna suck, just wait and see, sequels to kids movies always suck".
Just like with Pandaria, those notions were proven very wrong.
I really want to continue liking WoW. I have lots of nostalgic value in it... but it's hard to like the direction it's gone. I loved running SFK and other dungeons with a group of people. I feel like it's now just a solo grind with everyone else running around with their scaling gear to rush an alt and do the same raids at endgame as they're doing on a different class. :(

Garrisons are probably the biggest offender of that.
Thankfully class halls seem to be an attempt to fix it, but who knows.

Questing in WoW is honestly fan-fucking-tastic. I had to make a New account since the one I used from the WotlK and earlier days was not the same as I use now. Cataclysm streamlining the questing a bit and changing the entire early game content was super great, actually moving across the entire world without having to grind, continously progress one long story so to speak, it was like playing WoW for the first time again. The Cataclysm specific zones were very interesting, the different quest mechanics are fun (this was pre-WoD release so the stat change was pretty fucked of course) and the way they play around with movement is good. Pandaria was a beautiful place and I loved the farmgame facebook daily quest, hunting for treasures high and low and exploring the pandarian culture was really neat.
WoD was an absolute blast, even with the server problems, Things lagging like hell, spending and hour or two trying to gather lumber to create the Garrison, quests bugging the fuck out and whatnot. The interactivity with quests, all the use of zoning during quests to progress the storyline and feel like you're actually doing something, it's so good. (which is something the game needs even more of, there are too many quests with little to no impact, but at least there are quests with impact now which only slowly started being a thing with Lich King).
I think they've done an absolute stellar job with questing in WoW and it's just gotten better and better. (also, side note: I don't do dungeons when leveling, I purely quest)
The problem is that there is Jack shit to do in the end game except for Queue up for raids, PVP or world events. a.k.a grind for gear, Mounts, achievements or toys. They have Pokem- Pet Battles, they have the toy Box, they have a billion Mounts and achievements, but they are just so un-engaging, they don't offer you anything. Unless you're raiding on Mythical there is no real sense of accomplishment to it, only the last raid boss on Heroic got our guild stuck for a while and they just needed to make a top-of-the-class raid group to get it Down. It's just not satisfying when you're able to do what everyone are able to do as well, and Your only reward is "slightly better numbers!!" and you have to "fight" for them as well.
But what can they even do? Can a game with mechanics like WoW even properly offer anything that feels actually meaningful in the end game? I honestly don't know.
As somebody who's never played WoW, seems like everyone is just sick of playing the same game for so many years. I'm willing to bet that the vanilla game and the first expansions had tons of problems too, but you weren't keen to them because the game hadn't grown tiresome to you.

They just massively fucked up Warlords of Draenor.
Any expansion previous to this one was better.
