It lasted all day from about 7 am to 5 am this morning. It just got worse and worse and worse, I thought I was having an allergic reaction to a new medicine I took at 5 am that morning for the first time. Nothing made it go away or dull the pain of it. It was the most painful thing I've ever experienced. The pain just kept getting worse and worse and worse. I woke up at 3 am screaming, not crying, but screaming and in the most pain in my life. and my head felt like it was going to explode. I felt like I wanted to die to make it stop. I have an extremely high pain tolerance too, but that didn't seem to help. I almost called 911 because I didn't know what was going on and I wanted them to knock me out until the pain would go away. Luckily it eventually started to slowly go away on it's own and I fell asleep around 5 or 6 am this morning. I feel better now for the most part, but I'm still a little dizzy and out of it.
Well you can now say you've had a migrane. [editline]30th October 2010[/editline] Wait, aren't you that guy who has a fetish of bullbusting?
Dude, Whenever I have a headache, it turns into a migrain in an hour or so. i've had hundreds of them, they're horrible. i've got a problem where my headaches don't go by themselves... They just grow.
Congrats OP
this deserves its own thread
That sound a bit like a cluster headache to me, I've had migraines that have immobilised me and made me puke my guts up, but I've never been screaming. That would probably make it worse.
You think a migraine is bad, try having a hangover!
When I had my first migraine, my left part of my entire body became paralyzed. I couldn't talk normally, only "waurgleauheuhguhahghghghhghg". My vision became fucked up (it's called an aura), and the migraine then lasted for 3 days in a row. First 16 hours i spent in the hospital under scanning devices, rest of the time at home in bed. Everytime I thought it went better i moved my head a little and it came back in all it's glory. Felt like a red-hot metal spike being slammed into my brains and violently stirring around. I've had over a dozen of those now. You'd say you get used to it, but you don't. Not to the pain at least. They don't last as long as 3 days anymore, heavy ones end after ~2 days and small ones after a day.
You think a migraine is bad, try having a hangover!
I used to get migraines all the time when I was younger. I hardly ever do now, but I do get a lot of headaches, but I guess I built up a tolerance for headaches from my early migraines since the headaches don't really bother me. I don't remember migraines that well, but I remember that I would take as much medicine as possible, and I hate taking medicine, though I love the taste. I think my vision was blurry, like when you look at a light and squint, like that. It also hurt like a bitch, especially when I moved. I would usually get them in the living room, but the lights and the noise of the tv and such, I would want to go to bed, but I would practically crawl there because of the pain, and the stairs were killer, then I had to go up a ladder since I had the top bunk.
Tumor.
Welcome to my world, at least 5 migraines a season.
I used to get the Auras all the time. I wouldn't be able to see clearly for hours.
my mom has migraine. I feel bad for her when she lay on her bed and has it.
I get migraines often, on a weekly basis. I can tell when they're coming on because my tinnitus acts up and I tend to go blind in my left eye. I'm lucky if they last shorter than a day. Longest I've had one is about 5 days.
OP has a perforated colon
When I was a kid, I used to have migraines time to time... Spending your afternoon in school with a splitting headache is nowhere near pleasant... Especially considering that all these migraines edned up with me throwing up. Thankfully, they ceased years ago. But rarely, I have headaches that last half a day.
I hear the way to get rid of migraines is to close all your windows turn the gas on and go to sleep
I had it while i was at school and on the bus home... i thought i was gonna fucking die. my vision was really blurry and i had the feeling shit would come out of every hole in my body.
