I've committed myself to getting this gpu. My only issue is that I don't know what power supply to get. Specs Q8300 8Gb ddr2 400 1x 1tb 1x 500gb 2x 120mm fans Current Gpu 9600GT Current power supply Generic 350 watt I'd prefer to keep it between $50-$75, if need be I can go a little higher.

$5 more. Modular and a bit more power. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817371016
less power actually, max 12V load on that is 384W while on the neo eco it's 480W (40A*12V), plus it's single rail also OEMs (FSP or delta, not sure which) for the basiq vs seasonic for the neo eco modularity isn't worth sacrificing that much power and better quality
isn't single rail better [editline]14th February 2011[/editline] ninja

Didn't pay much attention to the 12v rails. And yes single 12v rails are better. OP go with the first one.
By the way how is Single Rail better? I know it is but I just want to know why :v: [editline]14th February 2011[/editline] Like I have heard multiple rails are better for SLi or Crossfire.
Personally, you should save up and get a larger psu that will last you a long time, rather getting a more powerful psu every time you need to up it. All of Seasonic, Antec, Corsair, Silverstone ect are good and cheap. 500-650w would be good. Something to do with overloading, but you shouldn't overload unless you're maxing the psu with like 358345378 peripheral and harddrives. Single rail is usually better because you shouldn't need more than one rail
Bit of a snag, rather not go into detail, but I need to be able to purchase it from Amazon. I checked for the NEO ECO and couldn't find the 520 watt.
I'd say http://www.amazon.com/Corsair-Memory-Compatible-Certified-CMPSU-600CX/dp/B0044R93S0/ref=sr_1_25?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1297910317&sr=1-25
and if at all Prime Eligible, 2 day shipping is free. Not a bad pick brendon [editline]16th February 2011[/editline] http://www.amazon.com/Corsair-Memory-Compatible-Certified-CMPSU-500CX/dp/B0044R93SA/ref=sr_1_13?m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1297911683&sr=1-13 would this work?
I would spend the extra $10 and get the 600w version.
