Gaming Rig, $2800 budget. Suggestions for changes? (Australia)

This list and price is for a pre-built machine but they're the kind of specs I'm aiming for.
Changed from original list, not pre-built

CPU: Intel Core i5 4670K
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-Z87X-UD3H
Video Card: Gigabyte GeForce GTX 780
RAM: Corsair CMP8GX3M2A1600C9 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3
SSD: Samsung 840 EVO 120GB
HDD: Seagate Barracuda 2TB ST2000DM001
PSU: ThermalTake 750W Toughpower Gold
OS: Windows 8.1 Pro 64bit
CPU Cooler: CoolerMaster Hyper 212 EVO
Case: CoolerMaster HAF XM
$2037
It'll be use mostly for gaming and I want it to be something that will last a decent amount of time without needing an upgrade.
Don't buy a prebuilt. Also 16GB RAM and i7 are way overkill for gaming, get an i5 and 8GB.

You're better off going with an i5 4670k, seeing you're only gaming. Use the money you saved for 8.1 Pro 64bit as well.
Everything else is fine, and it'll be far cheaper to build one yourself as well. Some prebuilders tend to put a sticker on to do with warranty like "Do not break warranty seal" or some shit like that.
$2800? Not worth it, spend $1500 on a machine that will still run anything and buy yourself some nice clothes.
I've put together a new list (this one isn't a prebuilt system)
CPU: Intel Core i5 4670K
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-Z87X-UD3H
Video Card: Gigabyte GeForce GTX 780
RAM: Corsair CMP8GX3M2A1600C9 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3
SSD: Samsung 840 EVO 120GB
HDD: Seagate Barracuda 2TB ST2000DM001
PSU: ThermalTake 750W Toughpower Gold
OS: Windows 8.1 Pro 64bit
CPU Cooler: Do I need one other than the standard in-the-box fan and heatsink + the case cooler?
Case: CoolerMaster HAF XM
This one is $1998
I'll change the list in the OP to this one.

Aftermarket coolers is a must! Especially worth doing as you might want to overclock your processor.
Noctua or a Hyper 212 Evo cooling fan for the CPU.

Thanks, list has been changed. Any more suggestions?

Where are you ordering from?
Don't overclock unless you have to it's not really worth it, the extra heat/power consumption/noise(sometimes) is not worth the small difference in performance. I'd still buy a cheap brick-like heatsink like the 212.
Also if you value solid graphics drivers I'd say go with an AMD card, they are better at software(at least in the current generation), the GTX 780 wins in raw power so it's up to your personal preference really(most people prefer power).
Enjoy your new rig, the parts are ultimately up to you. Everyone tends to buy over their means the first time they build a pc(if they have the money) and regret it in a few years when they realize how easily they could have gotten by on a cheaper one.

www.pccasegear.com.au I've had several friends who've built computers recommend the website to me. I'm going to assemble the same or similar machine on a few other website just to make sure I'm getting the best deal.
Isn't the UD4H price the same as the UD3H right now in Australia too? Also that PSU is way overpriced. Get the EVGA NEX 750 modular one.
Also if you want to go with a Cooler Master case the Haf 932 or Haf X are better cases. I like the 932 with the 3 230mm fans and 1 140mm fan.
More changes, I couldn't find either of those CoolerMaster cases and the UD4H is about $40 more than the UD3H

You know you can use pcpartpicker in australia right? au.pcpartpicker.com
Also I would get the asus 780, just based on the temps and noise levels http://www.hardwareluxx.com/index.php/reviews/hardware/vgacards/29152%20%20.html?start=5
Also if you're getting that case I would personally recommend you buy another side 200mm intake fan + filter, it helps the cpu cooler and gpu a lot.
AU pcpartpicker is subpar in my experiences. I've found pccasegear to generally have a great selection at competitive prices
I'd like to know what point everyone disagrees with me on. If you feel so inclined throw me a rating..
Do you disagree with:
(zing) - AMD are better at software than Nvidia.
(informative) - Overclocking is a waste of power unless you are dropping below 60 frames(or 120 depending on the monitor).
(friendly) Both.
I'm going to order the parts tomorrow and just want to see if there's any last minute advice on my list as it stands now:
CPU: Intel Core i5 4670K
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-Z87X-UD3H
Video Card: Gigabyte GeForce GTX 780 3GB GHz Edition
RAM: Corsair CMP8GX3M2A1600C9 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3
SSD: Samsung 840 EVO 120GB
HDD: Western Digital WD Black WD2003FZEX 2TB
PSU:EVGA SuperNOVA NEXT 750W Gold
CPU Cooler: CoolerMaster Hyper 212 EVO
Case: Thermaltake VN700M1W2N Overseer RX-I
CD/DVD/Blu-ray Drive: LG CH12NS30 12X
I removed the OS from the list as I'm just going to transfer my current Windows 7 64bit license to the new machine.
$1934
Looks good. Just so you know though, the 212 will only allow a medium OC. I'm sitting at 4.5ghz right now for a lower temp OC (70°C during stability testing) with a very similar setup.

16GB of RAM is rapidly becoming the norm for gaming machines, and why did you decide on the 4670 instead of the 4770 even though you're spending so much?
Edit: I just read the thread and saw the recommendations, I believe hyperthreading is going to become more heavily utilized given the newest generation of consoles, and my statement still holds true on the RAM.
16gb is not becoming the norm. It's sadly only fairly recent that most new titles has 64bit clients. And as to games utilizing more than 4 cores, by the time that becomes mainstream he likrly will have upgraded again.

So you read the thread, but still stand behind the purchase of a 4770? How is 16GB becoming the norm? Care to explain? What requires, or even benefits from ram that is greater than 8GB?
I wouldn't spend too much on the processor. The i5 will be fine. By the time more games start utilizing Hyper-Threading, the Broadwell architecture will probably be out. Keep in mind though, if you go Broadwell when it comes out, you WILL have to buy a new motherboard.
