get the witcher 2
get the witcher 2
but I don't get paid till wednesday
get the witcher 2
I know it was gonna get an editor and modding tools, etc, but what makes Witcher 2 a 'must have'? I like great stories which everyone claims it has, and it seems to have skill-based gameplay rather than grinding up for hours on end like other RPGs.
Damn it, wanted to buy GTA complete pack but I forgot about it for a moment and now I'm out of cash.

I hated the Witcher 2 personally.
Payday is also a pretty fun game when playing with friends. I'd say, get that
I enjoyed Skyrim, but I don't really play it anymore. Is it worth it to get the DLC?
Witcher 2 was great for the first act and most of the second but then the plot just started becoming really convoluted and hard to follow (Hey lets forget the whole kingslayer aspect and go into the political shitstorm between four factions your barely know about) Gameplay was pretty good all throughout but I felt it started challenging and ended fairly easy.
Get witcher 2. It's pretty much the best deal today.
Get Bad Rats.
I'm tempted to get Sonic Adventure 2 from the flash sales
I'm tempted to get Sonic Adventure 2 from the flash sales
Do you have a controller? The keyboard prompts are a bit strange.
Do you have a controller? The keyboard prompts are a bit strange.
I'm fairly certain I have a wired xbox 360 controller if they would work
I'm fairly certain I have a wired xbox 360 controller if they would work
Mine certainly does, so you should have no problem then. Infact, it's a great port; my biggest problem is the game itself, I don't remember it being this damn annoying with the evil camera and sluggish controls for everyone not Sonic or Shadow and yet people have said this was there in the original copies - even on the Dreamcast. v:v:v
GalCivII gets my recommendation for sure. It's the best 4x space strategy game on the market atm, coupled with unbelievably sophisticated AI.

It has a great story, fluid combat, and astonishing graphics along with a fantastic atmosphere and even better characters. Not only that, but during the course of the game you make multiple important choices as game-changing as they are difficult to make. None of them are black and white like the ones you'll find in a Bioware game, but all move on more of a gray-scale. It's one of the best RPGs ever, in my opinion. After the free patch that CD Projekt released (which was huge by the way, CD Projekt is a fantastic developer) I really can't find anything that I would say is bad about it. Buy it, you won't regret it.
man those fucking timed 3 second choices in witcher 2 didn't have time to go look up the consequences online or anything, they just threw them at you and you had to actually make a fucking tough desicion and live with it
Grand Theft Auto pack. Getitgetitgetitgetitgetitgetit. I bought this pack like a year ago or something and I NEVER regretted it. So much fun in one buy if you haven't already played them all.

Just bought The Witcher 2 for The very best and pm'ed him saying that I sent him Postal's ass. Time to wait and see how long it takes for his curiosity to get the best of him.
I bought it and I have never played any of them, I'm in for a ride aren't I?
I already own gta4 on xbox, but even I bought the pack. basically endless fun even if you don't do the main story
The Witcher did seem over-hyped to me. It's a solid game with a decent story, and your decisions do make differences. The combat felt a little weak; you roll around until your enemies present themselves to be hit, and shoot magic when you have it. Most of the skills are minor percentage increases and slight buffs, with the only "interesting" choices in the magic tree. This makes character progression seem cheap. The armors linearly scale with you in the game, and there is a clear mage or combat chassis to choose from. The potion system made little difference. With the exception of a few magic oriented potions, other potions provided moderate percentage increases to damage or status effects. Unfortunately, damage didn't matter much except when fighting hulking bosses, and status effects almost never mattered; applying a burn debuff occasionally was never as good as applying permanent damage buff to your sword. Only "instant kill" was a debuff that was useful, and it was uncommon (as well it should be). Finally, in combat you perform a random array of moves depending on how you choose to attack. Certain moves were better than others, both in terms of damage and speed. Unfortunately, there was no way to choose your move beyond deciding from which move set, A or B, you wanted to use. There was also some variation from your distance to the enemy, but overall it felt cumbersome to get annihilated by something because your character decided a slow jump and stab was the best idea.
Bioshock collection costs 1 cent more than buying those 2 games separately

Damnit I just want Anno 2070 to go on sale. :'(
Personally the only thing Witcher 2 really had going for it was its graphics and story. The gameplay is clunky and horrible.

On harder settings you NEED those potions and upgrades and stuff.
Get Bad Rats.
It's quite an addictive game, well worth 30p
