This thread is about the paranormal experiences you had during your life.
There no real reason to debate if these experiences are true or not. Just share what you dealt with or heard stories of.
For me? I have seen ghosts and other things bother me. Someone to levitating of my bed, to biting me and scratching me, to strangling me, to computer and electrical equipment failing at certain times when something is around and some horrible nightmares as a result.
My point I seen some weird stuff that defies explanation and would like to hear stories you have
One time I was sleeping on my bed, and a ghost touched my butt.
I was spooked for life.

Sounds like you were experiencing Hypnagogia.
However in case if this story is true, one must know?
Did the ghost go by the name Marylin Monroe or Betty Page?
In my younger years, I was exposed to a lot of death and concepts of death. It was really not all that bad, but I don't think someone so young should pretty much have the books of life and death opened before them. Sometimes it's best to just not know concepts like that and to just be an absent minded kid.
I spent a good amount of time thinking about life and death, and what comes after death. It was such a weird concept to me. I was only around 9-10 years old at the time, so I couldn't really quite understand it. Nothing after death, eternities after death, it was all a lot to take in. I was not quite sure which religion had the right of it, many different people I knew believed many different things. As a child, I didn't really know which one was 'right.'
However, I had a sort of strange relationship with Christianity. The traditional Bible and whatnot. The Bible made for an interesting read, whither you believe it's fact or fiction. After reading it, I was of course then tasked with making the decision of whither this was the religion to believe or not. I'm generally a pretty simple guy in terms of needing concrete information to believe in order to believe something. Just because a book says something doesn't always mean it's true.
So I took some time to really investigate claims made throughout the Bible. I'm not going to bore people with the details, as I'm sure no one is interested. The real meat of the story is what began to happen during those younger years of mine. To put it simply, I would dream, and I would have conscious thought and control over what I did. A very, handy (for a lack of a better word) aspect of this was being about to leave dreams when I wanted to. If I had a bad dream, I could get myself out of there asap. Which I would frequently do.
However, there was one dream of mine that was always reoccurring. It would happen maybe once every 8-10 months, but only for around two-three years. They were horrifying. I would see many things. Small things, great things. I would see a field of green. There were men, with backs bend, working in the field. They wore tattered clothes. The night would fall as they finished their work. They, and I, would look up at the sky. An angelic figure would be present, holding a great brown tome. The angelic figure would wait a moment, then begin to speak names. As names were spoken, some men would smile, some would become fearful. The angelic figure would not mention my name, and would finish. For some reason, this filled me with dread. The dread became horror as I realized something unspeakably horrifying. I would then fall. Fall, forever. I would then wake up, sweating and yelling. Every object I saw in my room become a creature of horror.
During those years, I would have the same dream. There were times I would sleep walk and attempt to slice parts of my body off. Once my father, who was still awake, saw me rise from my room at night, and walk to the pantry to grab the large food cutting scissors. I then removed my pants and nearly sliced my, er, privates off. Perhaps this would be for the best, as later in life I would become a rather sexual fiend. I would continue sleepwalking every once in a rare while, but nothing so serious ever again. Around my 13th birthday, these incidences stopped occurring, and have never happened again.
Well now you know. That's my story. I have never fully told it to anyone before. As I finish writing this, I don't really want to go into further detail. The thought of these events still makes me uneasy.
The best advice is assume the likely and see a mental health professional
Im not saying that for you particular, just in general.
I was abducted by aliens, srs.
I was abducted by aliens, srs.
O seriously doubt it. Most abductions occur between waking and sleeping or when one begins to lucid dream. It was most likely a delusion. When I can, I'll post sources reffering to this.
As for the guy describing the silhouette? I have played with occult and all I can say is bad idea. If your house has a history such things. It would not be a surprise you may have guests and need t take care of it.
No. I cannot advise you how to take care of it. All I can say from experience is the darker beings use the weaknesses in your deep min against you. If you take care of such weakness, then you are off to a good start.
Other them that, no I cannot help you.
I was having a normal day, and then I suddenly realized I had a skeleton inside of me. It spooked me for life.
Also, I often smell bacon at sites where people have died violently. Even if I'm unaware of the violent deaths. I don't believe in ghosts or all that spooky shit, but that is fucking strange.

I once worshipped Bugs Bunny and picachu for shits and giggles. What's your point?
Back when I was a kid, maybe 6 or 7, I'd been sleeping on the couch. I woke up around 3AM I think, if not some ungodly hour, and went to the toilet and to grab my pillow to bring back to the couch. After I got done in the toilet, I went to grab the toilet and I took a quick look at the large window I have on my wall. Most people I've told this have just said it's my reflection, but I swear that I saw someone wearing a white dress. I moved my arms and everything and all they did was stand their slightly hunched over.

You most likely had a stalker or creepy weirdo peeping in on you. Why didn't you call the cops?
You most likely had a stalker or creepy weirdo peeping in on you. Why didn't you call the cops?
I honestly didn't think of that.
I honestly didn't think of that.
You do seem like the type where the obvious goes over your head. Don't feel bad. It happens to the best of us.
However, if your not being sarcastic, I apologize for my re!ark and say I do not know what to !make of it.
one time I went to the doctor and they did an xray and there was literally a fucking skeleton inside me on the xray I nearly shit myself
one time I went to the doctor and they did an xray and there was literally a fucking skeleton inside me on the xray I nearly shit myself
If you went to a doctor and the x ray showed you have a skeleton inside of you and are suprised at the fact, my recommendation would cease going to that Christian fundamentalist school your parents are sending you to or quit playing with drugs.
I remember when I wanted to sleep on the couch for shits and giggles, I got terrified when the shadows formed some kinda demon shape on the wall and I ran for my bed :v:
Looking back at it, there was nothing that could've logically made such a shape, but then again I was a kid and it was probably my mind.
Also, just curious, how far away was the person you saw? Would have to be pretty close for it have been a reflection like people say.
OK, here is my reply.
When I was in high school, I read a lot. When I read about angels, I would see angels every where. When I read about demons, I seen demons every where. When I quit reading any thing, I only seen shadows.
The point is these things behave pretty like information.
As for what you said, you most likely had a delusion and a contact. The fear you felt was it trying to influence you.
However, once again, best to assume its a delusion any way.
Took a shit and looked in the bowl there was nothing there its happened maybe only twice in my life

Probably a very heavy fart...
Played with an ouija board and nothing happened
Spit in my hand and it was more effective at producing some kind of result
I wish I could believe in paranormal stuff, I really do. It's like the ultimate mystery. Sadly I have never experienced something that didn't have any natural explanation, and until I do I just can't believe it exists

Spirits are often referred to as "invisibles"
However, my grandma told me the story of one time she played with such a thing and then it flew across the room. When she askd it why it did that, it replied "You are smoking and the lit tip touched and burned my ass"
I once took a shit, and when I wiped my ass, the toilet paper came back completely clean

You mean a materialist explanation. The only way you will find out it pick a spirtual practice and find out.
Do I believe in this stuff? Yes but at the same time, I believe its still a load of crap.

Stop eating so much white chocolate
A long time ago I was taking my dog outside at night so he could do his business before bed. My yard was pretty big and half of it was like this sparse forest. I didn't have my porch light on because I was lazy, so it was pretty dark. I walked around a tree and there was this fucking guy standing a few feet away from me. Now, I remember what I saw pretty vividly but ran the second I saw it. I could barely tell him apart from the rest of the trees and shit because it was so dark but from what I briefly saw, his proportions were kind of wrong but I can't describe how, he was wearing pants and some kind of coat, I think he was white, and I couldn't make out his face (but he did have facial features I think). He wasn't moving and he didn't quite match the environment. it was like someone propped a cardboard cut out of a guy in my yard or photoshopped my vision. It didn't make any sounds at all. His posture was sort of creepy too, kind of like something inhuman trying to be normal. The millisecond that I laid eyes on this thing, I was filled with this intense fear, not like a startle, but more like I was absolutely sure this thing will kill me, and I just ran at this superhuman speed straight back to the front door of my house. My dog was kind of freaked out because it could see in the dark and could tell that I was scared by something, but didn't know why. That, and I accidentally jerked his collar a bit because I was trying to run away. When I got inside I turned the porch light on and looked through my window and there was nothing.
To this day I don't know what that thing was supposed to be.
The most scariest experience for me was at my cousins house. I would go over all the time to play computer games with my cousin in the living room. We were there so often that his mom put a air mattress there for me to sleep in since he slept on the couch. Well one late night we were up around 4 Am. The computer was set up facing a wall and the dining room was to the left of the computer or was an open space from the livingroom to the dining room. Well I was busy playing paperboy and I heard my cousin get real quiet. I started to say something when he tells me to not move. He told me to quietly get up and walk slowly to my cousin pearls bedroom. I asked him why and he told me to look at the sofa. Mind you the sofa is facing the TV in the back of the house and the computer is towards the front of the house so all I could see wpuld be the back of the sofa. Well when I turned to see it looked like someone was sitting on the sofa. Everyone is the house is asleep and all the lights are off except for the computer. I did as he said and the closer I got to the bedroom the date I would walk I looked back to see if there was something behind me. In the door way to the hall that leads to the bedrooms was a person standing facing us. We ran into the room and locked ourselves in. I did not sleep that night.
I killed a man once.
Now he won't stop haunting my dreams. How do I fix this?
I woke up in the middle of the night, with a bit of light thanks to the moon, and when I looked up I saw a gigantic skyrim fucking sized spider descending to my bed on his web.
I turned around to turn on the light at the speed of mark IV and with the same amount of sweat you'd get from a threesome.
this one time i woke up with a pair of scissors in my bed. Either i sleepwalked to the kitchen and got the scissors or a spooky ghost thought it was a fun idea to put sharp scissors in my bed.
wtf ghost i could've cut myself jesus christ
fucking ghosts
6 circles moving on the sky at late night (doing the same clockwise movement)
Never knew what it was (the circles were somewhat huge, thought it can be just light)
This OP is hilarious
the over-active imagination/schizophrenia thread :v:
But yea I dunno, never had any sort of experience like this I couldn't shrug off as something else.
