I've got my W10 pc hooked up to two monitors - by HDMI to my tv, and by DVI to my monitor
when I'm using it on the TV i usually have it set up to duplicate the screens on both, to make it easier to set it back up on the desktop if someone else is using the TV. When I use it on the monitor, it's usually set to only display on the monitor
now here's my issue: sometimes when i'm at my desk, my monitor will intermittently glitch out and go full on static. i can fix it by turning the monitor off and on, or even just cycling the inputs. this never happens on my tv.
it usually happens in fits and starts; this is the first time it's happened in almost a month. it seems to happen most often while i'm playing computer games, but the programs in use don't seem to really have an affect on it, it just happened three times while i was writing this post
what is the issue? do I need to buy a new monitor? is my video card dying already? I've only had this pc for a few months now. Do I need to run HDMI to both monitors? I know my monitor can take HDMI, but I've forgotten if I have two HDMI outs on my pc or not
