Color me uninterested
Nobody's asking indie devs to make AAA-level orchestral scores or super high res models, just be a little creative
Classic 8-bit art-style
Seems nobody knows what 8-bit means anymore (need I mention how Ubisoft portrayed "8-bit" in Rayman Legends?). That's not even 16-bit -- there are WAY too many colours for it to be either of those.
Strongly reminds me of this game, which is pretty cool I guess.
Color me uninterested
While I do hate the whole "lol retro 8-bit" trend, at least this one doesn't have graphics that look like absolute ass. It's a shame that they are trying to pass that as a "8-bit art style" because if anything, it devalues their work since it's often used as an excuse for having no artistic talent. Plus as RTB pointed it out, it's nowhere close to 8-bit.
