Would you kill yourself to save 1,000 lives? That is a very hard question. I don't know what I would do. If it was at the end of my line maybe but I can't exactly pinpoint what my decision would be. Probably yes. What do you guys think about killing yourselves for 1,000 lives saved?

If I could choose, I would kill all those poor people with diseases that don't allow them to function correctly. Mercy killing, pretty much.
You kill thousands everyday just by paying your taxes and contributing to the US govt or buying something from a multinational corporation. No point in saving 1000, when you have already indirectly killed millions.
Would depend on the lifes I'm saving.
Someone important, I'd do it without thinking, but 1000 random people, no chance in hell.

Depends on the situation. If it's like instead of me dying a thousand totally random die I would sacrifice myself. But if it was me dying to save a thousand in a situation like where someone has to sacrifice himself to save others, ie. a zombie breakout and one has to win time for others, then I could do it.
