I have $1200 and i am looking for a Sandy Bridge/ AMD Radeon build. I have researched myself, but i am unsure if i am getting the right items. RAM doesn't matter if it's at least 4gb. I am Looking for future CF support incase i would want to upgrade in the future.
give your location, and what peripherals you need, if any
also OS
Oh shit, i keep forgetting, i already have a hard drive, i'm going to be dismantling my old computer for the case and HDD, do a backup of my windows 7 copy and wipe the drive. I'm looking for a mid-high end range build with maximum upgrade-ability. CD drive also not needed.
what's your current case?

also keyboard/mouse/monitor/speakers?
Old case is full tower atx and I have a monitor and such.
This is what i'm going to be getting soon, and it pretty much fits your specs (just ignore the case :buddy:)

But you could get a 6990 GPU.

that's a hell of a deal, but even better since i don't need the SSD, HDD, case, any fans, and the cd drive, so i could get a 6990 and an i7 2600k, now then, all i need is to be allowed to buy this. i have the money, but i have parents that hate computers and anything to do with them and it was a wonder i got my current one.
oh ok :)
You should get an SSD though tbh.
2500k and a good cooler > 2600k
For you (and most people) at least
ok, ill drop the 2600k, and go for the i5 and a 6970 instead of a 6990 and get a decent sized Vertex 3.
