I'm trying to get a new CPU, and I've decided to get an i5. I've found these two on Newegg, and to be honest, I can't really tell the difference between the two. The 660 is a dual-core with 4mb cache and integrated graphics. The 750 is a quad-core with no integrated graphics and 8mb cache. Go with the i5 750. Remember you will need a socket 1156 motherboard, though.
Thanks, man. I'm looking at some of these 1156 motherboards, damn they're pricey.

Some guy got his i7 860 past 5GHz on that thing. Here's the original thread: http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/showthread.php?t=234169

If you're not interested in OCing then hook yourself up with an MSI P55-CD53.

MSI has shitty customer support. And I am speaking from past experience.
MSI has shitty customer support. And I am speaking from past experience.
They've been good to me. Then again, I haven't had many problems with their products, and if I did have a problem it was easy to fix because their customer support is quick and helpful (unlike ASUS), and they have everything I need to download from their website. Even then, I haven't had to rely that much on their support to fix whatever I needed. I'm pretty sure you're just saying that because I made you a bit uneasy with my thread about the HD4670 + Crysis, and then you tried to troll me and made a moronic post about how I allegedly changed the topic title. Oh man, that was hilarious.
Integrated graphics are on the motherboard not the CPU silly.
The new i5's and i3's have them on the CPU.
Integrated graphics are on the motherboard not the CPU silly.
Read about Clarkdale. The new i3 and i5 dual cores have graphics integrated into them.

Plus I swear for the life of me I could not get a American person to talk to on the support line.
if you are on a budget, get a i3 530. It is a cheap & fast little bugger, overclocks like an E8400 on steroids, and preforms well.. but i5 750 if your budget allows it...

Great multitasker didn't have time to benchmark though. :(
