The game looks cheesy as hell though, I think even a little too cheesy for my tastes. In my opinion Just Cause 2 had the best balance between being wacky and still somewhat serious.
I'm going to drive to an airport and shoot myself naked out of the cannon at passing aircraft.
I will be dissapointed if they do not have the Evil Cars cheat and the ability to import your SR2 character.

This is perfect, everything Saints Row should be. I am confused as to how challenges will be presented though, pure sandboxes do grow old.

It's the exact opposite of where GTA is going, GTA IV is getting darker and more realistic
And Saints Row is just getting more stupidly insane

Your allies will "coach" you to be ready for the fight against the syndicate by making you do stuff.

What the... Read today someone's post here that he was alright with moody GTA 5 if Saints Row series is full of destruction and fun. Well, I'm not. I'd rather have a balance between the two. Because SR3 seems way too gimmicky.
This looks crazy, and hilarious. I don't think I'll get it, but it really does look fun.

sr1 was so much more subtle, and the biggest laughs for me always came when the main character spoke
now that he's less of a silent protagonist and more of a normal thug, it's lost the magic it had
imo ofc. the humor seems to become less and less mature as the series progresses
Else it would be GTA clone.
This has the wacky aspect to weight it up to the market and players.
I think it's better like this, GTA is the serious one.

I've been waiting for this, I have now pre-ordered.
I think this is much much better. I like having cops on my ass, but I also like not having them on my ass at all and just DO WHATEVER THE FUCK I FUCKING WANT IN MY GODDAMN SANDBOX GAME.
How long it will keep the fun is another thing, but at least I know I will enjoy the first couple of hours of this, a lot.
Didn't like Saints Row 2 (except for making a manly woman) and never tried SR1.

I think it good. It brings back the fun and stupidness of gaming and playing in your sand box.

Kind of gives a harmony, if GTA sticks to a serious, rather dark atmosphere while since Saints Row would be all crazy.
Saints Row 2 is what GTA 4 should have been in my opinion, after San Andreas and all that wackiness. This is going to be epic.
Saints Row 2 is fucking awesome so this one is a day-1 for me.

Umm, this is a walkthrough not a trailer.
Anyways, the game looks pretty fun. I had loads of fun with SR2 so I'll definitely pick this up.
