Me and my friend were talking, what is the least ideal holiday destination? we were thinking North Korea, (because you would get shot as soon as you get there) and all of those strict military places, some places in Africa (because of the diseases), or Egypt (because of the muggers and other people who wanna beat and rob you). what are some more places?

Uh people holiday in Egypt quite often, a couple of my friends did just a few weeks ago.
You're kidding right? Generalizing an entire continent because of a few shitty states.
Africa can be amazing, the entire place is filled with different cultures, geography and languages. You can get pretty nice tours and safaris.
Egypt is pretty decent too, only thing right now is all the protests and disruptions going on. So it would be best to wait for things to settle before going to cairo.
I've moved around and been to a ton of different places, every country has its awesome areas and shitty areas. You just got to go out and discover them, all places are filled with bad apples and can be terrible. You just got to steer clear of these areas and stick to more safer areas.
I'm adding Somalia, apparently its one of the few countries that the Home Office says there is no safe place to travel.

Not true. I had a flight that went JFK-Glasgow, and my flight to Tirana was delayed, so I left and went to a hotel and came back.

Christ i hate misinformed people. Although i have to agree with the post about Somalia, A friend of mine's dad works in Somalia, he ferries Oil Rig employee's to the Rig and back. One day one of his work mates took a "shortcut" outside the recommended flight path. He came back with around 150 bullet holes in the helicopter, He himself suffered several grazes as cuts after bullets struck past him, taking some of his flesh with him.
