Hey guys, I'm thinking of upgrading my PC to run new games on higher settings. Here are my current specs: Win 7 64bit ASUS P5Q Radeon HD 4890 on 1920 x 1080 Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Quad CPU Q6700 @ 2.66GHz DDR2 Ram (4x 2GB) 8192 MBytes Mushkin Chronos 2,5" SSD 120 GB My Radeon HD 4890 is quiet old and i think this would give me the best result, when replaced. Other option I see is upgrade to DDR3 Ram, which means i have to buy a new Mobo aswell. I'm from Germany and about my Budget, it depends on what you tell me is worth upgrading! I'll tell you as soon as you tell me what to upgrade :) So what are your thoughts on my Comp ?
If you're a gamer who wants to own and play modern games (Black Ops II, Battlefield 3) Try these following things: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Asus-GeForce-Graphics-Express-Surround/dp/B007ZO7T9E/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1361217486&sr=8-1 http://www.amazon.co.uk/Asus-Motherboard-Bluetooth-CrossFireX-LudicLogix/dp/B007KZQE5I/ref=sr_1_2?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1361217530&sr=1-2 http://www.amazon.co.uk/RS800-80GAD3-EU-Silent-Power-Supply-power/dp/B005V42MAG/ref=sr_1_3?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1361217572&sr=1-3 http://www.amazon.co.uk/Intel-Generation-i7-3770K-3-50GHz-Technology/dp/B007X1JM30/ref=sr_1_1?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1361217609&sr=1-1 My PC runs BF3 at 40-70 fps and sometimes 80-120 fps, As we know BF3 has amazing graphics. (P.S: Sorry if they're in GBP, Not Euros, Just copy and paste the name. *I think germans currency is Euros, Sorry :S*)
Thank you for suggesting this but these prices are way too high for me! £749.49 for a graphics card is too high end for me :D I'm thinking about a price around 150€ for the graphics card.

I don't know. ^ | Don't listen to this guy, what he is giving is way too much for your needs, too expensive, or not enough (HD 6750, oh god) More seriously, Go for an i5 3570K An Gigabyte GA-Z77-D3H 8 Gigs of RAM And a cheap, but solid graphics card, an 7850, and if you got some more money, an 7870, or an 660 ti if you're more in the nVidia side.

Try witcher 2, Batman: Arkham city. [editline]18th February 2013[/editline] Also if you have a 690 and you're running BF3 at 40 - 70 FPS there is something wrong. I get a constant 75 with my 670 with Vsync and my max is like 160. I'm also at 1280x1024 but at 1920x1080 it should be holding almost a constant 60.

Thank you for your suggestions Fleskhjerta thats exactly what i was looking for! The i5 3570K is around 200€ Gigabyte GA-Z77-D3H is around 80-100€ 8 GB DD3 around 40€ and the Graphics Card from 150 to 220€ as I see. I can only afford one of these atm, graphics card or CPU+Mobo+Ram. In my opinion it would be best to go for a new graphics card, because mine is really old. I'd like to hear what you guys think ;)
Yeah, go for the graphics card, the CPU, mobo and RAM, later.

My fps are limited so everything isn't too fast paced. I don't play batman either :L
