i just noticed that there is another one, "full". whats the diff? dont really want to spend the extra 80 dollars
Students get windows cheap.
System Builders just means that you have to keep it on the computer you installed and activated it first to.
Not much of a problem, really. If you do a major system change, just call up Microsoft.

I have a system builders version of Professional, no problems so far except for WGA fucking up on me once for no reason, but it fixed itself.
For system builders (or simply OEM) copies make you legally bound to sell the computer it's installed on. You can sell your computer to me. thx.

Specifically it ties itself to the motherboard, but if you ever do need to change it just ring up MS and say your motherboard died and you got a replacement and need another serial.
Also, just so you don't take it the wrong way, yes you CAN reinstall windows on it, as long as it's the same mobo and such.

im a senior in highschool, im enrolled for college in the fall though.
If you get OEM then you can call Mcrsft up and tell them stuffz
the difference between OEM and Full is that OEM can only be used 1 time, and you get limited support from Microsoft. OEM was made for system builders.
64-bit OEM

What he means is you can install windows 7 on another new computer, whereas OEM ties itself to the motherboard that its first installed on, but you can ring MS and make up some bullllllshit about your motherboard breaking and they will send you another code.
