iTunes skips to next song after about a minute into a song.

I've been having this problem with a song on iTunes, it never plays through to the end, it always skips to the next song when it gets about a minute into it. I look at Apple's support page and the forums and it seems that a few other people have been having this problem since the update to version 9.0, but I can't find a solution to it.
Does anyone here know how to fix it?
Do you need to use iTunes? there are better alternatives.
That doesn't help me fix this...

I know this is a controversial opinion, but I reckon iTunes is pretty decent.
I need to use it for my iPod, so why bother going to the effort of setting up two programs to play my music when iTunes already does a fine job for me?
I use winamp primarily so I don't have to alt-tab out of games because I don't have enough ram it takes forever to access anything outside of the game. The global hot-keys are very useful because my g11 media-keys don't work on win 7 for some strange reason.

The media keys on my G15 work just fine in 7. Have you installed the keyboard drivers?
Are the start and stop times settings changed in the Get Info > Options tab?
The file may be corrupt or there may be a boundary in the play time like SirKillsAlot said.

I checked that but it was set right.

Yeah, it was probably corrupted, I deleted it and redownloaded it, now it works fine.
Right click a song, Get Info, Options Tab.
Check that the songs are at the correct start/stop time. Someone may have, for a prank, set them all to end after 1 minute.

YOU CAN DO THAT??
Sweet!
Maybe this might help you.

I have this a lot with m4a files, the file wouldn't happen to be of that extension by any chance?
