• Media Players compatible with W7?

I'm trying to watch my Lost DVD's on my computer, I have VLC Media Player, and WinDVD Platinum, and of course Windows Media Player, but none of them will play the DVD, it won't play other DVD's either. Is there any media player compatible with Windows 7?
VLC should be able to play them. Did you try this? [IMG]http://filebox.me/files/zz3jgc7tm_Untitled.png[/IMG]
My Windows 7 plays movies perfectly fine. I have Cyberlink DVD Suite and WMP.
Everytime i launch VLC it just says "VLC Media POlayer has crashed, do you wish to send an error report?" Then, if i click no, VLC launches anyway >.> I tried what you said Eight Bit, it just crashes.

Just pop the dvd in, and it should automatically recognize it and ask you if you want to play it in WMP.
WMP just goes black, doesn't play it. [editline]07:40PM[/editline] I tried all of the links you guys sent me, they don't load it, i think it's just Windows 7, what should i do?
If VLC doesn't work then you are clearly fucked. Can your computer read data DVDs without issue?
Maybe the DVD itself is messed up, try a different one.
Media PLayer Classic - Home Cinema works for it, and its pretty decent. Are you on the retail version of windows 7, or the RC or even the beta? I found the RC and the beta's had issues with lots of software, and seemed to be especially susceptible to software conflicts. You may have to update the drives firmware, but we'll need the model number and manufacturer to help you locate the latest firmware.
No, im running Windows 7 Ultimate 32-bit
Do the DVDs appear in My Computer?
Perhaps you're missing some required codecs? [editline]03:31PM[/editline] Had this problem once on my Windows 7.
KMPlayer
Media Player Classic is awesome. My Top Gear 720p has fps problems with VLC, even on a Q6600 quad core.
