I recently got Vista on one of my computers and it has a printer attached to it. I put it as the same workgroup as XP and both computers are on the same network and they can share files but the XP computer cannot find the Vista printer I have. I have printer sharing enabled on Vista which is not passworded and on the XP computer when I try going on add a printer and then browsing through the network it finds my Vista PC and the public folder inside of it but not the printer which is in the same folder as well. Can anyone help?
We had that with our printer. We got around it by attaching the Printer to the XP machine.

Yeah but I don't want the hassle of moving printers around the place. The computers are right next to eachother but the USB cable is not long enough. Is it possible for the XP computer to see the vista printer without moving my printer?
