OKay so over spring break, ordered two new LED fans(Cause I wanted to make my computer look like glowy). They both arrived home and I installed them as soon as possible and everything seemed fine...at first. I soon noticed the green LED fan was extremely unstable on its side. It clips with its case or wobbles so badly that it'll eventually stop spinning altogether. Now this is my first game rig I've ever had the honor of taking care of so I'd understand where it was me who fucked up. BUT HOLY SHIT IS THAT CLICKING ANNOYING!! I really need help now as to how to fix it because I'm about ready to DIY apparatus it so the blades stay stable. I also have the red one which is in the front against the two slots that hold my hardrives and against the front filter thing. this is why you buy good fans, not shitty ricer ones
this is why you buy good fans, not shitty ricer ones
Thanks for not telling me an answer or if I installed incorrectly. Instead you just gloated :v:
it is quite hard to have sympathy for someone who doesn't do research and instead buys the first thing they see "Cause I wanted to make my computer look like glowy"
it is quite hard to have sympathy for someone who doesn't do research and instead buys the first thing they see "Cause I wanted to make my computer look like glowy"
I did do my fucking research and being a jackass to someone is obvious new at this isn't going to help that person get any better. You're about as helpful as the general discussion people are in general. I actually did have a fucking legitimate reason behind getting the fans other them having LEDs. I need a front fan to suck in cool air and back fan to blast out the hot air.
What he's trying to say is you bought a 2 $5 fans. Whether or not they have LEDs isn't completely the point in this case. For $5 are you surprised you got a piece of crap? I'm going to say you probably installed it right, seeing as you put in 4 screws to install one. There are better fans. Go get some. Edit: Just noticed it was an 80mm fan. Explains the cheapness. Just note that brand is usually not the greatest. And LED usually = piece of crap.
My fan was clicking the other day. I had a fucking ladybug caught in one of my case fans. And this was no pretty red spotted ladybug. This was a big-ass, BROWN motherfucker without any fucking spots or anything, just chilling in my big-ass case fan, getting knocked the fuck around
1 of my Antec 3 Speed fans click all the time if i don't hit it a few times and speed it up and slow it down a few times. Damn bearings have gone bad. But if you want your computer to glow, buy some LEDs or Cold Cathodes. Instead of buying ricer fans.

No, it was a ladybug. Wasn't really big tbh, just normal ladybug sized. But GOD they were all over my house for a while and they are ASS ugly, due to the colors.
Thanks for the tips guys.
:wtc: is that case? I see the side from my TT Element G, the top looks a little like a CM 690 II, and I dunno what the rest is.
lol $5
