Please. Please no. Just let it die quietly. The devs are lying, pretentious assholes. Give it no attention at all. They released a more unfinished "game" than MINECRAFT's official release.
Their new anticheat is awful. Rather than focus on actual detection methods, they collect a bunch of gameplay statistics then ban people for anything that 'seems' out of the norm. Its a good idea in theory, but poorly executed in practice. Some things you can be banned for even if you aren't cheating: - Having too much good stuff in your global inventory - Killing a lot of people from a long distance - Killing a lot of people in a relatively short space of time - Being /reported by players too many times Their ban system seems to be completely erratic and there is no guarantee that the people it bans are actually cheating, so if you are relatively good at games like this then I wouldn't risk your money.
Ohhhhh boy.
The game initially released late last year.
Time flies.
Time flies.
Yep, time flies when no one is having fun.
Time to get this game removed again.
The fake images are still there.
Hmm... let's look at the key features.... Two modes of Play: Normal and Hardcore If you die in normal you loose all your crap and respawn somewhere else, and in Hardcore your character gets removed, what do you loose or gain? nothing. Combination of First-Person and Third Person Perspectives No, just.. no. Meld of PVE (Player versus Environment) and PVP (Player versus Player) Wait... you mean the walking dumb potato sacks or the aimbotters? Safe Settlements where Players can access their global inventory Obviously a key feature, woah. Create your own Clans Wait, you mean the thing where you have to pay 10 dollars to be able to see each other on the map? Reputation system – Choose to become a lawman or bandit How the hell is this a key feature? It's basicly giving you a title depending on how many people you killed, or also known as: "That guy has the Outlaw title so he is a hacker." Leave Messages for friends in the game world with a time capsule Are you serious? How is this a fucking key feature? Immersive environment with unique and spine chilling sound effects Metal rocks and roads and stone wood? Mud highways? Or do you mean those flying containers? Huge variation of melee and firearm weapon types Uh... the weapons are simply different view models with increased damage, not much variation. GOTY
Gratz, You pointed out what we've known for a long time.
This is quite a good method if calibrated properly
You ban all the good players and leave all the shit ones in the game (who are more likely to cry hacker and report)? How is this good?
This is quite a good method if calibrated properly
No, that's how angry kids that can't deal with anyone being better than them that happen to run a game server do it.
