• Newegg Payment Plans

So, my parents are supposed to be providing me with my new PC very soon, but are concerned with having to pay all $1,800 upfront and would much rather make payments on a montly, or bi-monthly period. I've tried getting some information, but it seems conflicting. There's one portion that says with some payment plan there's no payment for a year, another that says no interest for a year, and yet another that says you start paying right away. My parents really don't want to use a credit card (read: we can't) and would much rather make direct/debit deposits from the bank. If someone would graciously explain Newegg's available payment plans, I would greatly appreciate it. Also, inb4 "*rage* you unappreciative little prick you don't deserve $1800 for a computer/it's a waste of money". I realize that you may believe this, but it's coming with everything, including a monitor, OS, and gaming keyboard/mouse. It's an entirely from-scratch build.
To be honest, you would probably be better off with Newegg's live chat support than you would be with people here for that sort of information.
newegg uses bill me later if you want to do that
You aren't making your PARENTS pay for it are ya?
You aren't making your PARENTS pay for it are ya?
First line in the OP. Unless you are being sarcastic/dumb I don't see how you could've missed that. :colbert:
To be honest, you would probably be better off with Newegg's live chat support than you would be with people here for that sort of information.
I'll try that, thanks.

Yes, making broad generalizations about someone totally makes you look intelligent. I haven't got jack diddly squat all year because I've asked for this. I haven't had a decent PC in over 3 years. So, how about you know what you're talking about before you go spouting bullshit? inb4 never works anymore :sigh:

The Bill me Later deal is a line of credit, just like a credit card. I'm assuming you (or your family) have a really poor credit score, and thus are not eligible for credit cards. In this case, you probably aren't eligible for the Bill me Later program either. Even if they do approve a line of credit for you, be very careful and take the time to read through the fine print. Special offers can come with some surprises such as abnormally high interest rates or stiff penalties for late payments. A poor credit rating will also impact the interest rates, payment periods, and how much you can purchase on credit.
