Downloaded a SonyVegas template but for some reason some fonts seems to be darken. See image below Here's how it should be Anybody know the problem here?
change the color to white
change the color to white
In the preview I posted up it is white.
i couldnt tell because the resolution is garbage
Use Imgur, they don't compress images.
Post the full res image, I can't make it out.
Done. First post updated! I don't understand why this happens at all, help is indeed needed here.
Can you explain your track order, I see your text underneath the layer ontop. Is it meant to be that way, looks like you have some sort of compositing mode to cut the text out of it.
The layer on top is a video animated of the smoke. That shouldn't be the problem because I still get the same result with or without the layer on top.
I'm assuming no one knows the problem here? Should I re-install Sony Vegas?
I have no idea, I've never experienced that problem in the years of using Vegas. Does it render out like that, or is it only in the preview?
I have no idea, I've never experienced that problem in the years of using Vegas. Does it render out like that, or is it only in the preview?
I tried rendering it as well, unfortunately it gives me the same result showing on the preview screen.
Have you tried recreating the project? Step by step. Make a layer of white text, add in the background and then the smoke. When does it mess up.
I'm not familiar with Sony Vegas pro to be honest, I've been using templates so far. Here is the template I'm using Download
you have to actually select the text like drag your cursor over the text in the box and then change the color. vegas is super dumb about that. what you're seeing in the text input box is a live test of what it will look like on the video.

I highlighted the text and tried changing the color to blue. The problem is the correct color won't show on the preview screen but will show on the timeline (See preview) I even tried rendering it but it still stay black, just like the way it appears on the preview screen. The timeline shows that you have an effect active on that event. Click the green little plus sign on the text, and what is in there?
The timeline shows that you have an effect active on that event. Click the green little plus sign on the text, and what is in there?
Nothing really..
Did you add that? did you try turning it off to see if it made a difference?
Again, everything I'm displaying here is from a template I downloaded. The Author of the template made it easy for users to edit template. Instructions were all we had to do was edit the text. I tried turning off the plugins but there is no difference. Why is this happening? This is getting to complicated.
So I'm assuming no one knows how to fix this problem?
shit man, i dunno. i'm used to the older versions of vegas and for some reason the text highlighting thing works for me every time
I just downloaded the project for myself and it works just fine. [t]http://puu.sh/9OBpA.png[/t] Have you change anything at all settings wise?
No I didn't edit anything at all. So is it just my computer? I haven't change anything from the main settings for Sony Vegas ever since I installed it. Should I change it? How's your settings looking like so I can change it to yours
?????
