• Video Card Problems?

My video card is quite strange, I have a Nvidia BFG 9600GT, and I'm starting to see some wierd stuff. The main problem is Zeno Clash, the game runs silk smooth. But then mostly in forest-like areas like this, After 5-10 minutes of gameplay, It freezes for 10-15 seconds, then once the freeze is over, then it turns into this And that is when its mild, it gets much worse sometimes. The only way to fix this is minimizing out of the game and going back in, or just exiting the game and going back in. Garrys Mod and HL2 EP2 have done this as well, but It's only happened like 2 times at the most for those games And secondly there's Crysis, after I've been playing for like an hour it starts flashing black squares every 2 minutes of gameplay. Unreal 3 games use to do this, but not any more after a driver update. My theory is that my graphics card is getting too hot. And yes, my video card drivers are up to date. Specs: AMD Athlon 64 X2 3800+ 2.0 ghz 3 Gb of Ram Nvidia BFG 9600GT Asus M2nbp-vm-csm Edit: Occasionally, it'll also pop an error window saying "nv4_disp.dll has stopped working correctly, please save any work you have and reboot the computer"
It's probably overheating.
I second that, it is most likely overheating. Post temps: http://www.cpuid.com/hwmonitor.php
It could be an underpowered PSU. What PSU do you have?

60 degrees C is fine. Check your RAM.

get CPU-Z. And I disagree on it being a ram issue Cratos and you are always spamming, Check your ram. so I am going to ignore you for the time being, I had this problem with the 7800GS on Farcry, I think it's a texture overload, :/ EDIT: Fuck you who ever shoved a Disagree on me.
