okay guys, so i was thinking about taking my not so good acer aspire 5532 and pretty much making it better by replacing the CPU and any other suggestions you can give me. ive got no idea what CPU im gonna use and im not very good when it comes to laptops and im sure most of you are saying go for the desktop but i would just like to see what we can come up with.
It's highly unlikely that you can replace the CPU in your laptop, it's not like a desktop.
Yup, you're probably fucked.
Far more cost effective to replace the whole laptop if you are going to replace your CPU. Besides, the GPU is more likely your biggest problem on that machine. Laptop GPU's are usually much further behind desktop GPU's than the CPU's are, at least in my experience. And RAM seems to be pretty much on par with its desktop equivalent.
I recently learned that you can use all of the newer laptop's cpu's in desktops which I found extremely surprising, also you can use the RAM and the battery in desktops, ofcourse the amount of money needed to do this is huge
Well, thanks for the advice guys.
