I need a new graphics card to run RE5. I got a ATI Radeon X1600/1650 series. Can someone recommend me a new graphics card other then a ATI Radeon HD2400 Pro? Budget - About $50 - $150 Canadian.
why only ATI?
Budget will determine many things. Would you mind providing us with one?
Uh what's your budget? [editline]03:02AM[/editline] ninja'd
-snippity snop- Budget is now in OP. [editline]03:14AM[/editline] Could someone at least show me a website where I could buy computer parts? I might actually need more then a graphics card..
why only ATI?
Because ATI fucking owns Nvidia. Get a 4850 dude...bang for your buck, and prices dropping fast because of new releases. Search places like Hardforum. For retail sites, www.tigerdirect.ca
So far, it seems like im getting the ATI 4850..
go for it..but really, what wattage is your psu? 300, 450, 500? ect
Again, i don't know SHIT about computers...
So far, it seems like im getting the ATI 4850..
yea, the 4850 is good, but what is your PSU? don't want it to blow up.
Could you please explain what PSU is and how to find it out?
Could you please explain what PSU is and how to find it out?
Power supply unit, open your case, and there's a box either on the top or bottom, generally..that's your psu there should be a sticker on it somewhere telling you max wattage n stuff just..don't touch anything. ground yourself before doing anything also, is your computer prebuilt?
ninja'd :ninja:
I also recommend an ATI Radeon 4850, preferably XFX. We seriously need to know your PSU, just open up the case and look at the top left, it should be easy to find. If it's over 400, you should be fine. Also, when you do find it, tell us how many amps as well.
Also please check if you have an AGP or PCI-E card. You show us this by downloading GPU-Z and taking a screenshot of it.
PSU is your power supply. It's what gives the rest of your PC electricity. Open up your computer and look for the large box connected to your power cord. There should be a chart with its wattage on it. As for the rest of your specs, CPU-Z should give you the readout. [editline]08:28PM[/editline] fuckin shit ninja'd
One person at a time: I don't know SHIT about computers, so i need a new graphics card, and i have picked the ATI 4850. I need to know ALL about it, like PSU and everything else. Also, before i open my computer, i need to know what to do to make sure i dont get an electric shock and that shit.
you won't get shocked if you PC is off and unplugged.
if your PC is prebuilt Just state the name I'll do the research
