Season Pass promised four story expansions. They added in the level cap for free. You're already getting more than they promised so stop complaining about something unplanned that wasn't promised being added into something that clearly doesn't and wouldn't include it from the beginning.

"Season Pass" doesn't really tell you what it is...it's just a name for a group of content, not even "this seasons" content because it would expire before it's all out.
Why wasn't Zer0's special ability slashing with his swordrather than a shitty decoy, and this guy get's proper melee?

They delivered exactly what they promised with the season pass, aka four story DLCs. The rest isn't counted in the price of the season pass.
So except if you want to see the price of the pass get an additional 10 bucks so the additional characters and all additional skins fit in, tough shit.

Because giving the sniper/melee character a melee-only special ability, rather than a more general purpose one, would probably be a bad idea
What kinds of weapons will he use? Will it be like he turns all normal weapons into melee weapons or will he have his own variety of melee weaponry?

some of his skills affect his melee, but he still uses guns like everyone else.

The different characters are meant to be different ways to play the same game. They won't make one who changes it entirely. Plus, having a whole set of special items unique to a character would be unfair, both to the other characters who can't use them, and to the new character* because he/she's probably more limited in options because they didn't put as much work into those items as they did for the items that vast majority of the characters use

It was the DLC season pass, so one would think that they'd get all of the DLC. I mean, a season pass at an amusement park lets you enjoy the park's rides for "free" for all of the season. Borderlands 2's season pass didn't give you all of the DLC and shit, kind of misleading.

I haven't played Borderlands 2 a lot but this reminds me of how I used to play Brick.

also, [I]all[/I] of the dlcs so far have been outsourced or at least made in co-operation with another company with the exception of gaige so it isn't really fair to blame your dislike for the dlc on the fact that it was outsourced
im not basing it solely on that its outsourced, i played the pirate one and it seemed to me it was not up to the same quality that the main game is, nor did it hold my attention for all that long. the other story DLCs, from gameplay that ive looked at + trailers, seem to have the same quality as well. i dont really want to buy any more story DLC if its not primarily made by gearbox
theyre good for wanting to extend the longevity as a playthrough, but in actual quality? not all that great

quality of the dlc could have suffered due to them outsourcing.

tbh, the only dlc thats actually any good is Tourge's campaign, but even that had to be poisoned with something[sp]tiny tina[/sp]. the only dlc i haven't tried is just gaige, and for me it's too late to even play borderlands 2 from the start, i just got so damn bored the game, VHM doesn't do any good since it's basically just grinding against more enemies to level up.
