I had forgotten about the blocking of monetizing for let's players, but this is getting fucking absurd. They really do hate free publicity
It sucks indeed, but it goes back to the route of the whole LPers monetizing their LPs, it can be argued that technically they have not created any content, because they games they play, are not their own. Blocking the stream is dumb, unless the EVO stream has ads, which it may, they'd get revenue from it. If that is the case, then that is probably the reason. Comes down to money, people playing Nintendo's games and making money off it, that is why Nintendo is doing this, and Nintendo isn't the only one, Microsoft has said that if you upload any of their first party games and try to monetize them, they will claim copyright infringement.
