I get low fps in every game and i don't have any choke in games, before i could play any game i wanted to play on high with everything maxed out. Its not a hardware specific problem nothing is malfunctioning. I ran a memory test as well as other tests and i cant seem to find the problem which is causing this issue because everything else is working fine. Ive also reinstalled windows 7 64bit prof and formated the entire HDD. One thing that is odd on some games Like BC2 it works fine without any fps drop. I also redownloaded the gamefiles often and still no fix i have even the latest drivers installed and there is no overheating or something. I even took the whole pc apart and looked after something that is broken or burned i also cleaned out the dust. Please i need help with this problem i can't find any solutions. Here are my specs: http://speccy.piriform.com/results/ZF51lphC6DCR5RkNwIqH8T5 I already have done memtests and such stuff i don't think its hardware related otherwise it would show me. What is your GPU? From what you've provided, it doesn't leave me with any hints as to what it could be... Have you tried downgrading your drivers? Maybe the most recent one caused some problems.

anyone? [editline]3rd June 2011[/editline] Updated the link now its in english.
Have you done your normal system maintenance?

Clean up system with CCleaner (or manually clean out)
Clean up Registry
Perform a Defragment
Run a Check Disk
Yell at it in an uncontrollable rage
Also, is BC2 on a different drive/partition than the other games? You seem to have a bunch of volumes mounted. Also, are you on 7 or XP?
It doesn't provide the exact GPU model, nevertheless.
Doesn't exactly matter either. The 5770 is the most popular off the 5700 series, I typically just assume its the 5770 and im normally right on that.
I have already done what you said in the list and im running windows 7 64bit.
Gotcha. Should've atleast bolded them. Thanks Goz3rr for pointing that out. Im having a case of the Fridays apparently. Yet, coding something in lotus notes isn't exactly healthy either. Do you have any anti-virus or something scanning in the background when this happens?
I have steam and games and such as an exclusion in my anti virus i use Avast.
I have steam and games and such as an exclusion in my anti virus i use Avast.
Thats fine if you're white listing your applications. But this doesnt mean your HDD is still subjected to load when a live scanner is running in the background. Could you disable Avast and see if anything happens? If you're really worried about security, please use sandboxxy for the time your AV is offline.
I did that today and avast has nothing to do with it i got no fps gain or something when i disable it.
You may want to try to reinstall DirectX. This may do absolutely nothing, but if I were in your situation I would give it a shot. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/179113
Try a system restore If all else fails reformat and reinstall
Tried to reinstall DirectX didnt do anything also i already did a reformat and reinstall several times.
Help.
What are your temps? And are you getting new games and complaining about fps, or is it games you previously got good fps on?
And it would help to know what games
You can see the temps in the op it has link with my hardware to it from Speccy I mainly play tf2 , World of tanks, BC2 ,Sc2 i have the worst performance in tf2 and in sc2 in bc2 the fps is ok i only have that when the match beginns it lags a bit or drops fps but then it runs smooth without any fps drop. And if your to lazy to look up the link my cpu is avg at 47 degree and max 50 degree which is an ok temp and my gpu is at 38 avg and 40 max and min is 32.
im going to look if my pcie x16 is @ 16 maybe its at 1 or 2 or something that would explain it, before i had fine pc performance tf2 ran at avg 110 and 130 max and 90 min fps. [editline]7th June 2011[/editline] It runs at 16...
Check task manager if you have any tasks running that could be hogging your resources. Check your temperatures, especially your power supply. You can try removing some ram sticks to see if you have faulty memory. If you have overclocked at all, reset all your clocks to their default speed (by googling them). That's everything i could think of, hope it gives you an idea to fix it.
Ive already done those and nothing helps its really frustrating.
