• $650 Budget Gaming Build

I want to build a desktop computer. I mostly use my computer to browse the web and type up documents in word, but I would also like to be able to play some video games on medium settings: Mass Effect 2 and Amnesia: The Dark Descent. If that's not possible with my budget, I'm OK with low settings. I don't need an OS but I have literally nothing else - no monitor, speakers, mouse keyboard, anything. This would be essentially from scratch. My budget is $650 total. I'm not an audiophile and I don't need a huge monitor screen. Regarding shipping and stuff, I'm an American. I also have no prior experience when it comes to building PCs. Everyone seems very insistent that even so it's way smarter to assemble your own computer. Where should I go look for tutorial information on building things yourself? Thanks for your time.
On it. Also is the OS 64 bit?

I suggest buying a monitor from another site, Newegg doesn't have good deals on them. I'll have a go at this sometime. Woah what? Is that website reliable? Seems too good to be true.
You don't know what woot is? Deals.woot is a crowdsourced deal thing. It's through Dell, anyways. Woah nice find
Thanks guys for your help. And that's awesome about the monitor. I really appreciate it. Falco's build looks really good. I'll see what Shadaez posts too.
