I bet that the guy responsible for this had preordered Aliens: Colonial Marines
Anthony probably got someone angry.
A bunch of people are going to find this story funny. The funny thing is that people openly expressing how funny they found it will just encourage more people to do the same. Which isn't funny.
For some reason, the sentance "someone is out of control!" sounds like a compliment you would give to some rad skater. That's all I'm hearing.
I bet it's those damn journalists again
That's pretty overboard, but no one got hurt so lol
Anthony probably got someone angry.
Or it was Burch himself. Maybe someone stole his framed Anita Sarkeesian tweet.
Most likely Lizard Squad or something, they were the ones who did that airplane bomb scare against SOE president.
Fucking hell. Why a video game company?! I bet it was someone like "LEL GAEARBUX RUINED MY VIDYA! BETTER SCARE THEM WITH DEATH!". Fuck these people, it's just a mother fucking video game. Why threaten the people who make your shit? Why get the attention for it? So much about this article is pissing me off soo hard right now it's not even funny.
does it make you want to call a bomb threat
If the worst parts of the internet could be made into a physical person, I'd slap it's face.
i remember someone got death threats for patching a sniper rifle in call of duty this doesn't really surprise me, the gaming community as a whole are sour crybabies
i remember someone got death threats for patching a sniper rifle in call of duty this doesn't really surprise me, the gaming community as a whole are sour crybabies
It breaks me heart to see the community acting like this.
Pretty sure there are other businesses in that complex so it's possible they weren't "the target." Then again people are idiots and it's not totally unbelievable that someone would call in a bomb threat over a bad video game from last year.
sega did it
Shit article, why did they think there was a bomb?
Shit article, why did they think there was a bomb?
Because enough people hate them.
Shit article, why did they think there was a bomb?
Because someone called in a threat saying there was a bomb, then bomb squad showed up?
It breaks me heart to see the community acting like this.
Did it break your heart when Pitchford straight up lied to said community on three separate occasions?
Because someone called in a threat saying there was a bomb, then bomb squad showed up?
And where does it say that in the article?
Remember when some company got a beeping box in the mail and it turned out to be a fucking collectors edition of Watch_Dog. :v:
Did it break your heart when Pitchford straight up lied to said community on three separate occasions?
Lying about a game does not and should not be compared to bomb threats, real or fake.
And where does it say that in the article?
It's called common sense. Why else would they be there?
A bunch of people are going to find this story funny. The funny thing is that people openly expressing how funny they found it will just encourage more people to do the same. Which isn't funny.
god i hope so. anything to get rid of borderlands.
god i hope so. anything to get rid of borderlands.
borderlands = palestine maybe? could this mean something?
Did it break your heart when Pitchford straight up lied to said community on three separate occasions?
Lemme hand you some of my poop and ask you to turn it into a piece of gold each before this Christmas. [editline]4th October 2014[/editline]
god i hope so. anything to get rid of borderlands.
"How do I make a game company stop making a game I didn't like? BOMB THREATS!"
god i hope so. anything to get rid of borderlands.
bomb threats are totally a logical and not fucked-up thing to do just for a videogame series you dont like
Never said the context was the same, just pointing out the idiocy of laying a bomb threat implication on the entire "community" cause I'm pretty sure this was the work of one person, but good job on the knee jerk reaction completely devoid of attribution, classic Facepunchâ„¢.
I agree with the use of bomb threats to get what I want.
Fixed your post for you
