I hope so.
He's made some of the best stealth games of all time (if not the best).
he's like scumbag steve
"says he doesn't want to do any more metal gear games, releases a new metal gear game anyway."

He's forced to keep up with the fan demand and really, I would never complain as long as every metal gear was at a certain quality bar which so far (disregarding acid series) they have been.
I'll stand by you Kojima

I really want Kojima to branch out into more IPs, even though I fucking love the MGS series.

MGA is great once you're past the first few levels. MGA2 was even better.

I would not call them exactly stealth games, well they are stealth themed but some parts are really not stealthy and a bit arcady. Nevertheless hands down for creating such a great series!
AC!D and AC!D 2 were actually really solid tactical turn based RPG action games, and once you get used to the fact that they're not Metal Gear Solid, they're actually really friggin fun, especially AC!D 2.
That's the problem, they aren't Metal Gear Solid.
He's such a fucking badass.
that's fine now make all of them for the pc tia

Kojima isn't a fan of remaking previous titles he worked on. Hence why all the remakes are handled by other companies (Silicon Knights for Twin Snakes, BluePoint games for the HD Collection).
So PC ports are either going to be godawful horrible to play, because the porting company just isn't used to developing for such a varied system. Or lacking something like every re-release ever has been.
Zone of The Enders, get working on it and release information about it already.

I agree that sometimes the MG games are a bit non-stealthy (coughMGS4cough), but I still consider the series as a stealth series.
Sure, they're simpler than some of the other stealth games (well, at least some of them are simpler), but I think that that's the beauty of the series.
" I love Metal Gear. But as a creator, I want to work on new projects and create new games. I want to do new, creative things -- things no one has done before. -- Something that pushes the boundaries, something that may not even sell, but something that's new. "
I always like the sound of that.

You could still play MGS4 perfectly stealthy. But running around like a lunatic with a machine gun was always an option if you just didn't give a shit.

I think it was to the other MGS games as Conviction was to the Splinter Cell games.
Sure, sneaking was still possible and really fun, but just shooting everything was much easier.
Im sure Kojima could teach DICE a good lesson.
