Well my current system is: Intel C2Q6600 - 3.0GHZ Nvidia Geforce 8600GT 4Gig noname ram. 350W Chinese Power supply. This was a prebuild from HP. I want to upgrade it with: 1x XFX HD5870 1x ASRock Penryn1600SLIX3-WiFi (mobo) 1x Corsair CMPSU-850TX My Question is would this all work together?
Power supply is waay overkill, where do you live and what's your budget.
Noname RAM? I'm worried. It will work as far as I can tell, but PSU is overkill as previously mentioned.
Im in germany prefferd shop www.alternate.de i dont want to spent more than 573€ The ram is fine tho it's not really no name it's HP one's the are just not like branded.
It doesn't really matter about brands with RAM. CL timings are where its at.

Why are you getting a new mobo? Just get the 5850 and a new 500-600w psu.
Make sure the 5850 will actually fit in your (micro-atx?) case because it's pretty long - 9.5"/24cm.

If not i'd rather spent in on a new case

I could HARDLY have a 7950GS fit in my old HP case...

hardwareversand.de, reichelt.de und mindfactory.de haben auch gute Preise. Vielleicht solltest du da auch mal schauen.
