Since I posted on the wrong forum, they asked me to come here. So, I have my PC that is around 1 year old, and I wanted to upgrade it so it can play all Source games on high specs, keep in mind that I am from Argentina, and dollars here cost $9 each. So it should be quite cheap so I can buy it. I have around 5000 pesos, which is 890,90 dolars. Please use a simple english, so I can understand better. Thanks! Processor: AMD Athlon(tm) II X2 245 Processor (2 CPUs), ~2.9GHz Card name: ATI Radeon HD 5450 CPU speed: 2.9 GHz Performance Rated at: 5.65 GHz Memory: 2048MB RAM
RAM?
I'm very sorry, this is my first time doing this.
Use a program called "speccy" and take a screenshot of it. Also list your PSU and keep your video card listed as it is.
How is this computer 1 year old?
Well, I got it for my bday last year... Is there any problem? Is it to stupid to be a gaming computer?

Ok, so a proffesional Computer Engineer told me that it will I can run it good if I upgrade my RAM from 2 gb to 4 gb. Is that good?

Don't expect anything special though; it won't be that big of an improvement.
-More ram is a start. -Then a better GPU -Then A new CPU and motherboard. You might just be better of building a new PC with the HDD, DVD drive and maybe case and PSU from your current.

Everything is outdated but you will see the most improvement if you update the RAM and GPU now. The CPU isnt really good either but is enough for source games on max. Dont expect to run Battlefield 3 or Planetside 2 tough.
